This location makes an awesome backdrop for photo sessions! A little bit of Europe in the middle of Atlanta. The combination of architecture and the lake give a nice variety as well. The bridge makes for great photos as well with the Atlanta Skyline peeking in as well. IF your looking for a variety of scenery in a small space then this is a great photo location.
Small museum but still has some interesting artifacts and good information about Georgia History. Highly recommend budgeting 2 hours to appreciate the whole museum which includes Bobby Jones’s last club, some of Lyman Hall’s furnishings, and some early biblical scrolls. Fabulous staff!!
I’m a bit confused. The Wikipedia description didn’t match what I saw. The space obviously is not an art exhibition space. There were paintings hanging in doorways, corners and over what seamed other exhibits. It seams to be only on the ground floor and the entrance was hard to find. All of that said, I did enjoy the Bruno Zupan exhibit.
Museums are hidden all around Atlanta. This museum many drive by but I doubt many have visited. Currently featuring artwork by Bruno Zupan, the museum typically houses an exhibition pertaining to Georgia’s History and also on display is the Bodmer Papyri. We were grateful for Richard taking the time to walk us throughout the exhibit. He was able to provide more than enough info on the paintings and history this museum contains. I’m looking forward to visiting again once the permanent exhibition is back.
Oddly placed and shaped location. If you move too fast, you'll miss it. Very unique structure but lots of information inside.
The Millennium Gate Museum is a gate of wonder in a small section of the city! I love strolling through here during a stressful day and returning back to my head space Zen after I finish, especially with all the drama from locals that's not hard to miss from the secret benches inside, or if you're a dog lover, you'll enjoy seeing Atlanta's Finest Selection of Pups walking through on their owners designer leashes- Gucci Collar or Fendi?
In all seriousness, I do recommend this park if you need somewhere nearby to rest your eyes on some water or to take a quick walk nearby Atlantic Station without all the traffic!
It was okay! The museum only displayed one kind of art by one artist. Not sure if it is named after him. I loved the outside better. If you are a painter and love that kind of paints them this is the place for you.
Beautiful quaint museum, which offers an abundance of history about the city of Atlanta and Georgia. The museum guide is very knowledgeable, and views from the top level are spectacular.

Get in touch with the past for perspective. Learn about Atlanta's history, the importance of the Battle of Atlanta, and this very painting -- and our collective memory of what really happened in 1864 and 1865 to shape this great Nation.
Loved the bike technology and societal impact exhibit. Very cool for bike geeks. The only disappointment was that they didn't carry the cool bike accessories from the exhibit! The staff was super friendly and recommended lunch spots close by.
It is one of the most beautiful buildings in Atlanta. Visited with family and friends during our recent visit to Atlanta. Immaculately maintained building, as well as the surrounding park.
