Mill House Inn Motel - Motel in Carson City - 3251 S Carson St, USA

Me and my girlfriend and son stayed here for 3 months when we first moved in the property manager was extremely polite and helpful by the 2nd month he did nothing but complain and be rude and doesn't speak very good English he repeatedly would come BANG ! Yes BANG ! On our room door extremely aggressive and not necessary at all we paid our rent on time we even shampooed the carepts got new blinds from the ones that smelled and looked horrible to replacing the inside of the toilet and a new shower head all in which we did with our own money because the guy is a real jerk and honestly if we was Hispanic he would of treated us alot better the other Hispanics residents don't get treated like we did if u think u will get ur deposit back better guess again we made upgrades to the room left it clearly in cleaner and better shape then it was when we moved in and refused to give us our 600$ deposit this place location is nice the rooms are Little out dated they allowed some pets have free HBO channels and all the good of their place gets taken away by the way the Hispanic property manager talks to people and his aggressive approach the owner really needs to get ahold of his employees but then again I heard the owner isn't much better would not recommend this place to anyone what a horrible experience

If I could give this minus a 100 stars I would! This guy will never give you Your deposit back. Barely speaks English and is extremely angry when talking about anything about the room. This is a long-term motel it is not an overnight or there is no service besides making the bed. Be extremely wary Of characters in the other rooms. While there are some long-term construction workers renting there are also Very undesirables. Pets are allowed with an extra deposit. The grounds look very kept but don't let that fool you the rooms haven't been updated in 40 years.Pool is empty,damaged and hasn't been cared for in years. With housing the way it is in the area I'm sure he will continue to rent these nasty rooms out, But I can't recommend them at all. The owner is pretty much non communicative. Just wants to take your money and not hear anything from You. Huge pass!

Loved my stay at The Mill House Inn Motel. It sits a little off the main road and the sign is not real obvious. The room was large and very clean. We had a king bed which was comfortable, nice little desk, table and 2 chairs, good sized T.V. with plenty of channels, had a homey feel to it. It was quiet and relaxing after a long days drive. The court yard was well maintained and felt park like. It did not have coffee maker but coffee was available in the office. It lacked microwave and mini fridge but is a short drive to restaurants. It is owner/ operated and their pride in ownership shows. I will be staying here every time I pass through Carson City in the future.

While this place hasn't been updated in years it is fantastic. The owners take exceptional care and upkeep. The grounds were well groomed and very clean. The room we stayed in was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bed was firm and had no dips or sagging like you find in a lot of older hotels. All of the furnishings were older but in like-new condition which is impressive. The pool was small but looked well maintained and the surrounding area was inviting.

This motel is a hidden gem! Very clean and spacious. The courtyard has almost a park feel to it. It is family owned and operated and pride in ownership shows. They do not offer microwave or mini fridge but do have coffee in the office. Will definitely be my go to place on my next trip to Carson City. Enjoyed my stay.

Great place to stay! Clean, comfortable and inviting! This is the second time we have stayed here, and we will be back every time we visit Carson City. Another motel in the near vicinity was absolutely horrible. So finding this gem was truly a breath of fresh air! The owners are very accommodating and helpful. In fact, the morning we were leaving we noticed that a bird had left a sizable deposit on the side of our car. The owner, when he overheard us talking about it, came out with a spray bottle and towel to clean it all off. We were really impressed with his kindness and help! You will never go wrong staying here!

Located on the Main Street entering or leaving Carson City from the 395. This 1960s Motel is a fantastic facility. Mom and Pop owned. Faculty is meticulously maintained. Paving is new, grass is green and manicured. The pool is in the middle of the drive area and is dated but very nice. ||This property brought back fond memories of traveling with my parents in the 1960's. Big rooms and comfortable beds. Excellent wifi and hot coffee in the office. ||This will be my go to location whenever I'm in Carson City. Outstanding value and wonderful owners. ||If you are looking for an old school motel that has kept its charm this is the spot to stay. Which I could have stayed longer!!!

It's our first stay here. We were told that it was very clean, and they were right. It lacks amenities like: a fridge, a microwave; shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The property definitely needs some upgrades like: a new roof, new curtains which have shown a lot of wear and tear. The bedspread is from the 60's maybe. On the bright side, the owners are great and very friendly. There is very little street noise despite the single pane aluminum windows. I would recommend a guest barbecue. We were not allowed to use the owners and had to bring a small bbq that someone from our group brought. The lack of a fridge was very inconvenient. However, the grounds are impeccable and very bright.
