Milkey’s Place - Diner in Barry - 717 Mortimer St, USA

We drove 1 1/2 hrs because we heard of this amazing Tenderloin Pizza. Unfortunately, when we went to order, we were told they were out of Pizza Cheese, so no tenderloin pizzas or regular pizzas. They were also out of the garlic cheese nuggets. We settled on 1/2 order of fried pickles, a Tenderloin Horseshoe, a Club BLT with a baked potato. The Sweet Tea was amazing, the pickles breading was perfect, and the tenderloin was big! Limited staff, great teamwork among the employees that were working. Our waitress, was very welcoming, she greeted us, took our orders, food came out at a reasonable time, our drinks never went dry. She was checking out customers, on top of answering phones, organizing the pickups, and waited on all the tables, about 10 of them. She was all over the place, and still never ignored us. The decor looked like they were in the middle of remodeling. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

I stumbled upon this quaint little place by accident during late morning, when I had gone to Barry for other business. My waitress, Savannah, was very courteous and pleasant! When I walked in, my intentions were to order the tenderloin until I saw pork steak listed as the day's special. With that, I had mashed potatoes, smothered in peppered country gravy and lima beans. The lima beans did not really agree with my taste because they were sweetened, to which the waitress explained that many of the items there were. Despite that, my food was quite delicious and I will most definitely find any excuse or reason I can to come back again!! 👍👍🙂

As the other reviewers posted, the place is tasty, the staff friendly, and the price is right. We ordered "full skillets" and when they say everything is in it, they mean Everything! It was so much food and so good. Our son got the burger and mac and cheese. Oh yeah, and because our 6 year old son has long hair, someone called the cops on us for child trafficking. We got pulled over a few miles up the highway and were let go because WE ARE NOT CHILD TRAFFICKERS, WE ARE ON VACATION!! That's why only 4 stars, not 5.

Excellent fish dinner! Our grandson loved the bacon cheeseburger and lattice fries! Will definitely come back! It was a treat for us from a family member! This time we had breakfast,OMG, it was delicious! You can't go away hungry that's for sure!!

Great place loved the food. And customer service was great. You get food the what you pay for.

Absolutely Wonderful place very family friendly Food is Delicious, The Chicken Strip horse was massive, Chicken was amazing loved that they was hand breaded 100% recommended

Had 12 high school buddy's here here at Milky's today. Great service, great food and wonderful owner! Very hospitalable. We are going back soon.
