MILKCOW Cafe - Dessert shop in Vernon Hills - 240 Hawthorn Village Commons, USA

I read about this from google reviews so I was excited to take the family and stop by. We’ll, it was pretty disappointing to say the least. First of the young girl working was rude and frankly annoyed to answer my questions and help me in general. She was hard to hear and interact with as this place still has serious covid barriers up - huge plastic barrier at register and tables distancing pickup - yet workers aren’t wearing masks so it’s a bit of a mystery. Secondly the ice cream my kids got was nothing special. Over $6 each and they were maybe 8-10 oz. Generic soft serve nothing special. I was not impressed and will not be back. One kid got the cookies and cream. One chocolate blast something

The service was really good we had a very nice woman with a lively voice. I love the environment it’s so enjoyable and cozy too!! I personally adore lychee flavors and this drink did not fail to appease me!! It was so yummy and I usually don’t like ice cream but this was thicker and also quite delicious enough to satisfy my craving. I highly recommend!

The milky honey ice cream was delicious! Brown sugar milk tea and oolong milk tea were fine too but bad tapioca bubbles

Super cute place!!! We tried M7 (Macao Dream) and M10 (cookies and cream), brown sugar boba milk tea, and a pineapple mango galaxy drink with the macarons. OMG the macarons are to die for and the galaxy drinks are my new fave! If you're in the area please give them a try! 🇰🇷❤️🇰🇷

This is such a cute ice cream cafe!! Loved the decor and interior of this place. Wish it was open for sit-down so I could enjoy the indoor experience. The soft serve ice cream is creamy and delicious. The ice cream is made in house and tastes incredible. We had the SNOW DROP and MANGO TREE from their premium milk soft serve options and absolutely LOVED it. The Cotton Candy topping was awesome. We also had the Mango Galaxy drink with lychee and it was so refreshing and flavorful. If I lived closer would be back here everyday . Will visit again to try more flavors. GO CHECK IT OUT.

Not your typical ice cream parlor but the ice cream (milk) here is delicious. First visit here recently and was a pleasant experience. Ultra clean/sanitized venue with a friendly staff and some decent milk & tea choices at reasonable prices. This was a couple of weeks ago when I first tried and there was still no dining in, hopefully soon. Tired of seeing businesses close up shop because of this pandemic. We loved the milk here and will definitely be back soon.

The owners are super friendly and I really enjoyed the atmosphere, it’s very aesthetically pleasing. The ice cream is great especially the macaroons they were absolutely delicious. They have a lot of nice combinations you can choose from, I wish I could try them all

Every time I have come here both the drinks and ice cream have not disappointed! I feel Milkcow’s menu is pretty unique with items that are both aesthetically pleasing and tasty. The ambiance is also very comforting and cute. I recommend the galaxy drinks, honey latte, and strawberry matcha drinks, but I don’t think you can go wrong.
