This is a small museum that is free. There are small displays for each US modern war. You can go through this museum in about 10 minutes if you read fast. Otherwise, it may take you 15-20 minutes. This museum is definitely worth seeing if you are nearby but is not worth a special trip.
Really good experience. Some general military; way history, but also very interesting Nashville and Tennessee specific stuff. Surprisingly good for a quick little free museum. Some of the exhibits are a little creepy (weird manaqins) or intense for younger. I'd say it's great for most kids around 9+
There are a few great exhibits there to be so small. You can see and read everything in there within 10 minutes. The detail on the model ship was very good! The bomb exhibit was educational as well. Admission is free.
In an old basement, kind of dark and dank but it does have some nice weapons and info about TN military over the years
Friendly staff and informative exhibits covering WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Quite a few artifacts from the USS Nashville too, if that floats your boat. Worth a visit (entrance is free) if you're in the area and are interested in military history.

Very basic and sorry to say, boring. It's free, but with good reason. I would have been super annoyed if I paid to get in. It's a tiny little space. They had like a vest and a model of a ship, otherwise it was all stuff you can read up on the walls. You can serioulsly read more info on Wikipedia and have a more enjoyable time. Save your time and see something else.
