This park has been revamped and is autism and handicap child compatible and friendly. It also has a dog park on the opposite side of the main park, so it's all around a beautiful area for picnics and everything else.
Over by Loy Norrix side we were trying to grill out and most of the grills have no bottoms. Can't we come together as a community and help? Also some great caring idiosyncrasies decided to dump raw sewage meat the playground in the front so that's nice.
Great place for pics. Nice play ground
Newly remodeled playground is amazing! Brand new climbing structures and wood chips. The trails and river are always fun too!
First my 4 star rating is based on memories and what the park use to look like. There is areas that are being restored and closed section for your safety and the front of the park is open for guests looking forward to seeing what the final outcome is for milham park because families and friends still enjoy the gatherings and beauty of being outdoors. Here is photos of currently in process of what's to come...stay tuned!!
I love the criss-crossing cobblestone pathways and the old style bridges over the meandering stream. Beautiful place for some fall colors not far from the city.
There is a portion of the park that is more natural, with less mown lawn. For being a fairly large park, you never quite get away from traffic sounds or views.
There are some cool old staircases that obviously previously went further into the park that is now cut off by fencing, parking lot, and what is now the golf course.
Small, old play structure. Plenty of space to barbecue and picnic. Picnic shelter available as well.
Beautiful, historic park with a nice mix of scenery. Large open lawns, tree-covered walking paths, pretty views of Portage Creek. Gorgeous albeit tired stonework throughout, some dating back almost a century.
A few neat abandoned paths and staircases to be found amongst the underbrush. Plenty of barbecues and parking, lots of room to spread out or walk dogs. Lower-lying sections of grass can be soggy along the water, baseball diamond is unfortunately too wet for use.
Although this park has definitely seen better past decades, nothing is reaching dilapidation or real disrepair or danger. Overall it is still a very nice setting and worth a visit!
Always been one of my favorite parks in the area. I miss the old playground equipment!! The old space ship that you could climb to the tippy top, and to a 80s kiddo that way super high!
Still a nice clean park that we go to when ever visiting Kalamazoo. Great place to take the family and spend the day.
A hidden gem. Easy trail around a small wetland through a beautiful forest with a few old growth trees. We saw deer casually walking around, ducks on the water, birds, and frogs. A few areas cleared up to water for easy access to view the aquatic lif
One of my favorite parks in Kalamazoo â¥ï¸ there are SO many things to do for kids and adults alike. There is a large playground, clean restrooms, a picnic pavilion, walking path, tennis courts, basketball courts, a baseball field, a disc golf cour
Come to relax, come to play, come to let your kids run around like wild horses, climb like maniacal monkeys, slide like slippery seals and swing like modern day Tarzan. Soccer shots was going Tuesday night I went along with some bagpipe players along
Beautiful nature preserve in a nice, quiet area. You can get good exercise since part of it is pretty hilly. There's some nice little fun fact signs hiding back here. There's also a good variety of birds back here in summer.
I always love a good circle park where I don't have to move while seeing everything the kids do. There's super exciting climbing practice for them. But a bench closer would be great. Or easier to find parking?? Or bathrooms. I still recommend it's be
This park always has some kind of venue running almost every day. Within the park is the growlers stadium which has ball games on weekends. Although these types of games don't appeal to me, the stadium seems to be filled during the games. As for venu
Clean, well maintained park. I primarily use the disc golf course, which is challenging and fun. There are pavilions for parties and a nice playground.
The waterfall and park are beautiful! My friend's one year old loved the slide! And the ducks were friendly, just waddled away when they realized we had no food for them, lol
Such great coaches that make sure you continue to learn and also use correct form while also challenging you. Great place for new and experienced bjj and mma enthusiasts alike.
