A definite "must visit" if you live in or are passing through Milford. The museum is much larger than I expected, with many artifacts from local history - dating back to even the 1700s! When we arrived, we were greeted by the kind staff and a gentleman (I believe his name is Greg) took the time to give us a guided tour of the whole museum. He had anecdotes and insight that really added to the experience. The staff here is the nicest around! Free, but leave a donation if you can!
A small place, yet filled with an unbelievable amount of Milford and Delaware history. The staff was very friendly and explained the exhibits with great detail. I will definitely continue to come here with my family to see the updated displays.
Visitors wanting a history lesson on the region encompassing Harrington and surrounding areas can visit the wide range of exhibits housed at the Milford museum in downtown Milford. The displays rotate from time to time, so there’s always something different to see. Past shows include local politics, lighthouses, products made in Milford, the shipyards, and toys from the ‘20s.
They have a donation box at the door it's very interesting and relaxing there are so many old things here information on military, hospitals, fighting blue hen , old dental equipment that will make you be thankful for what we have , old phones , black history , baseball , information on the shipyard , why goat island came to be and so much more, and the gentleman that takes you on the tour and explains everything, keeps you interested. If you love history and old things from your grandparents and there parents past and see how Milford De is so rich in American history this is the place to go.
Free but small. They do have a sign in sheet. You can learn Milford history and see the maps. They have all the major wars including War Of 1812
Cute little local museum. Friendly docent. Visited because my family was from the area and featured in the museum. Worth a weekend afternoon when you're looking for something to do.
A great place to visit to learn the history of Milford, DE. There were a lot of exhibits to see, from dentistry to military to general history of the town and how it has become the place it is today. They were very helpful and had many insightful pieces of information about the building and other historical places to see in town. Glad I stopped in on a rainy day! I will be back on a sunny day to take the river walk and explore more.
We had a great time and learned so much. Our volunteer guide was fantastic and so eager to talk history and listen to our stories as well. We spent easily 2 hours reading about Milford and listening to a special person tell of Milford's place in history. So cool.
Really nice place nice trails alot of different ones they have picnic benches and benches throughout all the different trails it was really nice and quiet
Patrick and his staff create a fun and welcoming experience. We were there at feeding time and each Naturalist gave an engaging and informative presentation. I highly recommend a trip to the Nature Center.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Servers are so nice. Mixed drinks are good, we drink the orange crush and chicken fajitas are delish. We meet friends there about twice a month. You can't go wrong with this restaurant.

We stopped by on out way to OC and it was absolutely amazing. Bread came hot and fresh. The seafood pasta was very flavorful. My kids love the Margarita pizza and the vodka penne pasta was great. Great service as well.
