Incredible views of the river. It can get very overgrown. There is limited parking. Be VERY careful with kids, dogs, and your footing as you could definitely have this be your last hike. Best case, you will fall onto a ridge of cactus. 🌵
Beautiful and pristine area close to the quaint town of Milford, NJ. Perfect spot to see the sunset over the Delaware River.
Absolutely stunning views and a scenic hike to the bluffs. Not an overall long hike, trails well maintained, but can be muddy. Would highly recommend.
Great place to hike. Parts of the trail a steep bu no too bad. Other parts are narrow with vegetation on both sides. It’s about a mile to the bluffs on the river.
Easy walk for all though not recommended for families with small children or dogs. SHEER drops and NO barriers! The path from parking lot can have deep grooves or mud following rain so exercise caution. But once past that spot beautiful walk through wooded area with lots of native phlox, briar rose, may apple, and wine berries. Walk through two open fields and follow the trail down to gorgeous bird's eye views of the Delaware River and the Milford Upper Black Eddy bridge to the south and serene views of the river looking North. To another overlook that takes you to an open view of the river looking North. Both are spectacular.
This hike is absolutely beautiful. It is an easy trail with a slight incline that opens up into a breathtaking meadow surrounded by trees. After you cross the meadow, you are on a path that have several smaller paths off to the side that overlook the Delaware River and into Pennsylvania. This is an amazing hike.
Easy and short hike. Great views, but need to be cautious near the edge. It's about a 600 feet drop.
Reaching the bluffs requires an easy climb from the parking lot. Our last hike was a bit difficult for the first couple hundred yards or so due to heavy mud. Eventually the trail levels off and for the most part, is dry, with a pleasant easy hike to the Bluffs. The view is well worth the walk.
Me and my husband have tried all the Chinese food restaurants in the area and this is by far the best! The food quality, taste, price and portion size we feel outdoes the rest!! The hubby is a huge fan of the shrimp lo mein and I just love their por
