Excellent food!!! I had the shrimp tikka masala it was delicious. I will be back there.

This place used to be incredible but it has gone downhill in the last couple years. It started with a decrease in portion sizes and the food being super oily/greasy. I attempted to dine in person on a Sunday and that was the straw that broke the camel's back. We walked in and were told several times we had to wait which we stated we understood and agreed to. We took a seat and looked over a menu while we waited. Both employees we spoke to seemed irritated that we had even come in. Eventually we were seated but no one told us anything so we grabbed a couple menus and took a look. After a few minutes, someone came around and told us they weren't taking orders from the menu and they were buffet only. We attempted to order drinks but the server walked away from us without further acknowledgement. At that point we left. We notified someone who was at the front that we were leaving and received no acknowledgement. We weren't looking for an apology or for them to ask us to stay but rather just an acknowledgement that we had spoken. We will not be back and that's disappointing as I have been eating at both this location and the Charlottesville one for 6-7 years now.

Paid $50 for two takeout meals and left very disappointed. Paid a premium price expecting to have leftovers of a great meal, as has been our experience with many other Indian restaurants but unfortunately the portions were very small and the flavor was extremely underwhelming. I had the lamb curry and it was somewhat bland the the meat was tough. My spouse had the butter chicken and the “boneless chicken” was full of bones.

Paid $19.50 for a takeout order of butter chicken that was full of bones and stale chicken and sauce that tasted like leftovers. It was inedible. I love indian food but this restaurant is far below the quality it had a few years ago. I really hope they aren’t serving their customers stale food from the day before or food from their morning buffet.

We ate here on Christmas evening 2021. It had been a few years since we were in the area on Christmas. We usually eat at the owners brothers restaurant the Milan in Charlottesville. The food here was really good, They changed the Lasooni Gobi it wasn't crispy like before but it was still really good. The peshwari naan and samosa was really good. We also had the Shrimp curry and the Chicken Tikka masala. It was really good but the spice and heat was lacking and we ordered hot. The Garlic naan was good but very little garlic. For our Christmas Indian tradition dinner it was really good. Thanks for being open.

I would highly recommend Milan Indian Cuisine as it was my first time here and it exceeded my expectations! The location is within a plaza but the inside was very clean and modern with an Indian twist. The food was amazing and they had a wide variety of options from vegetables for vegans to variety of beef and seafood. Listed under the Indian entree names were the ingredients within your meal. The prices are fair and range from around $12 to $20 per entree. Our service was excellent and glasses were always full. It's Indian authentic decor, aroma, and music made it a unique and better experience!

If you order take out for more than one person they will give one rice container claiming it is twice the size of the single person order. This has been tested and proven to be false. Place two separate orders to receive the appropriate amount of rice or you will be disappointed. Also, they will provide a complimentary soup. Not the best flavor and definitely leaves a bad taste in your mouth when pulling their hair out of your mouth. I have a buzz cut and my wife is blond so it definitely didn't fall in here. Reference picture for color and length. Good food when there's no hair, but we do not appreciate deceit.

The Saturday lunch buffet was mediocre at best, dry chicken, dry meatballs. The tandoor chicken on the buffet was it's only redeeming quality as it was tasty. Service seems incredibly lacking and overall atmosphere was abismal, felt like walking in the door was an inconvenience to the barely attentive staff.
