We had a fun girls night out. We loved the rolls we got. The twister was delicious. I loved the sweet potato shavings on it. The deep fried Philly and one other roll I can't recall it's name was really good. I love the seaweed salad, my friend dint care for it. The tofu was also really good. We wanted hot tea and at first were told by our server they were sold out, but then he returned to sat they had it. We ordered 2. Bummed we did because it wasn't our thing. Took 2 sips and didn't drink it. A little earthy for our tastes. If you like that though it may be great. We will go back here soon.

Food were all excellent. Service was excellent and the whole staff were wonderful. Noah was awesome! Amazical as my granddaughter would say. We had gyoza, Agedashi tofu, California rolls, shrimp tempura rolls, Poke bowl and ramen. They were so good that we ordered more. If we ever come for another visit here, we'll definitely go back there again.

Service was really bad. 6 waiters and I had to get up to go get chopsticks and had to ask for napkins after they brought food to our table. On a different note, by far the best edamame we've had in SoCal! Good sushi. Will go back but hoping for a better staff.

Probably the worst service I've had in a long time. The hostess sat us down, and then nobody ever came to us. About 10 min later I had to wave someone down and ask if they were ever going to take our order. They never brought utensils even after our food came. To top it off, they never put my son's food in. No apologies, no compensations, just a "yeah it's on its way". Our original server was too coward to ever comeback and admit she never put his food in. Not to mention, this was on a Monday at 3pm, there was literally only 2 other tables besides ours. Seems as if this place is ran by a bunch of teenagers that have never worked a day in their life. Do yourself a favor, DONT EVER EAT at this location. I've had a few bad service experiences here in the past, but the sushi and beer is always good, so I've looked past it. This time I couldn't hold back, because they just don't care. The Vista location is always on point but for some reason, this damn restaurant has no idea what they're doing.

I was in the area because of work related reason, and craving for Japanese food. I picked this place because it has good reviews. However, it turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. We ordered stuffed mushroom, salmon poke salad, 16 pieces of sashimi, and shrimp tempura. Stuffed mushroom is very Americanized, and overcooked. It’s dry and rough. Salmon poke salad: chopped salmon cubes, seaweed salad, and some sauce were put together, and that is called salmon poke salad. 16 pieces of sashimi was decent. The main disappointment was the shrimp tempura. I marked on the paper for shrimp tempura, and our server bought out a shrimp tempura roll. While my friend and I were discussing if we should let the server know about the wrong order. Our server came over (without we asking), showing us our order, and said “this is what you ordered! You ordered the roll!” This is another way of her quickly telling me that “you messed up with your own order! Don’t blame me!” I do not recall her repeating the order to us when she received our paper. If she would have repeated to us what we order, we probably would have gotten the shrimp tempura. I am on a keto diet, so I cannot eat the roll. Pretty sad. There were plenty of parking space in the back of the building. Probably will not return.

This place is so good! I ordered the gyoza for an appetizer which were pretty decent. Then I ordered the Toro (Tuna belly) and my goodness it was delicious! Perfectly slices and so juicy! I also ordered the deep fried Philadelphia roll and the Escondido roll. The Philadelphia roll was pretty decent! Nice crunch and reliable flavor as always! The only thing I didn’t like was the way it was cut on a slant.. this always makes it harder to eat.. The Escondido roll was also pretty good to, the rolls named after the city they are in never fail! Over all a great experience! They consistently filled my water and the servers were very kind! This is a neighborhood gem and I will be back!

My friends and I went for a pre-homecoming meal, and I left having tried the best food I had ever tasted. I have had good sushi before, but this was insanely delicious. We split the bill by 4 and ended up paying $9 each for the total cost of the twister roll and one other, plus tax and tip. I told everyone I knew about it and will be returning, this time with my family.

My girlfriend and I noticed that they were building Mikko Sushi on Grand a few weeks ago. Yesterday we decided to try it out. I must say, the decor was simple and clean. Everything visually was pleasing. The Entire staff was quick to greet us upon entering the restaurant. We sat down and almost immediately met with regular menus and a happy hour menu and they were taking our drink order simultaneously. We order 5 rolls and waited. The rolls were made by extremely fresh quality ingredients. I was overjoyed how great the rolls tasted and how fresh everything was. I would recommend this place 10/10. We will definitely be coming back. Happy hour prices were very reasonable. My only tip is to go during happy hour between 4pm and 6pm. You will be glad you did when you recieve the bill and notice a difference in price.
