So glad we stop to eat here! The cheese curds were some of the best I've ever had and I don't even like them lol. If you get the nitro beer you can get something printed on your beer. It's dangerous tho cause we wanted to keep ordering more and more beer lol. Brian the bartender was awesome! He took care of us and was running that bar like a champ! We can't wait to come back!
Always love coming here, the food is always so delicious and their specials are always amazing. Love the Irish pub atmosphere as well.
Gotta shout out the waitress (Kim) from the last time I was here though. She was so sweet and attentive and she made the evening so fun for me and my daughter. The manager (small woman, I didn't get her name) was also surprisingly friendly and attentive for how busy it was that night. They both made sure we had an awesome night. Really, the service here is unbeatable!
Old Fashioned interior design and super service along with Tasty Food and Beverages where else but Mike O’Shays. We walked in thru the back door and were cordially greeted by Triston who showed us to our starts in seconds flat. He handed us our menus and came back for our selections. For lunch we ordered the Corn Beef Rueben and Crispy Fries and an order of Poutine. Poutine is a dish I was introduced to in Canada. Usually when you have it here in the States it’s just gravy and cheese served over fries. But at O’Shays it’s like you’re in Montreal. It is well done. The fries are smothered in melted cheese curds and delicious gravy but unlike most Poutine it also has short rib cut into perfect size pieces. The list of beverages is very large and they have anything you can image to complement your selected food choices.
Jennifer, our server, was absolutely to notch. My husband and I were out to celebrate a big event and Jennifer had perfect grace and decorum in talking with us, knowing just what to say and when. She was upbeat, kind, extremely pleasant and showed real genuine interest in our milestone accomplishment. She is a gem 💎 at Mike O'Shays, and they really need to hold onto the great employee they have. It was our very first time in and not only was the food "TO DIE FOR," Jennifer topped the visit off with just being her!
What a great time. Thanks 😊
This was the first time ever dining here and it definitely won’t be the last, all the staff were friendly, great atmosphere, the food was excellent and they aren’t stingy with their portions either you do get a lot of food.
This place brought back memories of being home in the U.K. and the friendly Pub atmosphere
My dads from Ireland and if he was still alive he would have made this a regular spot.
My mum ordered a Guinness and they put a image of Marilyn Monroe in the froth… VERY COOL!!!
They also have some gluten free options for those who have that need.
A real Irish Pub right in the heart of Longmont's historic Main Street. From Jen our server to the fabulous food and vast array of both Beers and interesting mixed drinks right down to the most delicious carrot cake I have ever had everything was wonderful! Jen deserves a special mention, she, a stranger, inquired what we were celebrating. We were celebrating the publication of our first book on Amazon. Not only was she excited for us, she wanted the link to the book. Most of our oldest and dearest friends haven't celebrated our achievement. Jen is a true gem of a person and a great server as well. She made our day!
Came here for a birthday lunch, was amazing food. Drinks were well made. Server Valerie was amazing and tended to our table in a timely manner. The food is beyond delicious, best fries in Longmont.
We love coming to Mike o’shays! I will say we were bummed to hear that you don’t give the martini shakers with the martinis anymore. It was part of the reason we love your martinis!! Although Jen is the best and she always gives the best service!! Love her
