Yesterday the Kirkwood Public Library ~ Mystery Lover's Book Club met at Duffy's for an afternoon celebration. This group enjoys reading, talking, and eating! Our server, Elaina, was friendly, professional, and efficient ... managing the variety of tastes that this bunch craved. Duffy's is all decked out for the holidays, so if you (and your crew) are looking forward to having someone else do the cooking and you enjoy small town shopping ... head to Duffy's and you will thrilled with their service and atmosphere. As for the food, I can speak to the yummy spinach artichoke 9"pizza I enjoyed ... could also work as a sharable appetizer (see image). A few of the ladies enjoyed the Fried Fish Sandwich and told us that it is their "go to" whenever they go to Duffy's.

Food and table service were both just OK. If in a pinch for a place to eat, we would return for another try but it wouldn't be our first choice. Not very busy on the night we were there and we had to ask for assistance the couple of times we needed something at the table as there was no checking on us.

Took my husbands family here for happy hour. Our server Josh was very friendly and attentive, even though it was fairly busy. I ordered the Cajun burger and my husband got the pub burger. Both were just okay. Cooked to how we specified but nothing to write home about. The happy hour prices were decent although not the biggest selection.

The patio was spacious and pretty and much appreciated since they accomodate dogs. The live music was a plus. Our waitress was very nice and helped me select something as I'm vegetarian and I wanted a salad that normally had meat. She saved me money by suggesting a different salad and adding the things that I wanted that was in the meat based salad. My husband's burger was quite tasty

Decent food and atmosphere made urgent with the Missou game on the line. Thankfully, they took care of business and the crowd relaxed eventually. But not before a few rounds of those awesome apps!

Duffys was excellent! Food was very good and our waitress Elaina was super smart and helpful. She does a great job and Rock Chalk :)

I have been coming to Duffy's for years, and it's always awesome! Service is always friendly, food is always good and it's hot a great vibe to it. I highly recommend the Cajun Chicken Sandwich, Irish Nachos, and the chili is fantastic!!!

Really sliding down hill...Just a mess of a process to book a happy hour. Offered the meeting room with options for a buffet or ordering off the menu. Then the day of the event, just about 4 hours prior to the schedule arrival time, let us know that we had a minimum food order of $300 to use the room. Of course tax and automatic gratuity would be offered. When asking about a guaranteed beverage bill, they assumed we would be drinking, but it isn't factored into any of the minimums. Manager Marty was less than accommodating, the worst type of service manager I have worked with in years and blamed the miscommunication on his "newer" manager that set us up. We didn't have a budget for our not-for-profit to fork over nearly $400 for the training meeting. Lost opportunity, when we try to bring you 25 business and community leaders to your store for a great experience and when given the chance to make it a better than ideal situation, no common courtesy. The t-ravs, un hot wings and pizza weren't very good. Had plenty of food left over that no one wanted to take home. At least they let us run separate checks with our amazing server. He was the highlight of the evening. Ethan is the only reason why this rating wasn't all single stars. Our experience in using the meeting room was also spoiled by the constant distraction from the coming and going to and from the kitchen, with kitchen noise, and a creaky door that must have been the only way in and out of the kitchen. Having a temporary barrier or utilizing the other entrance at least while we had a presentation going on would have been the respectful thing to do. Lost cause keeping this store in business, only a matter of time it seems. Won't be back...
