Midtown at WKU - Student housing center in Bowling Green - 1313 Center St, USA

I only give this establishment 2 stars and not 0 because of the friendly staff. But in all honesty, I can not wait til I move out of this building. For the amount you pay in rent it isn't worth it whatsoever. This apartment is meant for those who consistently want to party and not study for their degrees. Only one to two nights I can sleep at peace with no loud noises. If your neighbors smoke weed then it will leak into your unit through the vents. This place is not clean by any means, there are bug infestations and dried vomit in the hallways that will never get cleaned up (theres vomit on the first floor in one building that has been there for over a month and a half). Rent is to expensive for what they claim to be "best student housing for WKU students". Who wants to pay $50 a month for parking when you can get WKU parking for $125 a year. Who in the right mind thinks its fine to charge $550 in just parking a year when you can walk only a block to save $425. It would be different if it was a annual cost but monthly? Consistently get emails about wifi being out on a monthly basis, there has been accounts when electric goes out at random as well. I moved in August 5, 2023 and I already can not wait til my lease ends.

The office staff has always been very nice and super helpful. Our daughter likes her apartment, and it is VERY convenient to her classes. Also, they allow pets, which was a MUST when considering places for our daughter to live while at WKU.

I wish I can put zero stars be aware of this full of roaches , my daughter been there since August 5 2023 can’t eat or drink because the Appartment is infested of bugs . Don’t rent here if you care about your kid it is not healthy to live with this . We been talking to management since August till now the problem never solved , I think. The complete Appartment is infested not just one . I don’t know what we should do next . This place is not clean , and no one cares

Midtown is awful!!! I took over a sublease for the summer 23/24 for less than two months. After moving out, there was mold all over my mirrors back and the apartment was infested with ants. Now I am being charged $650 for damages caused before I lived there and the pictures they sent don’t even show any damage at all. There are ants EVERYWHERE outside so it’s no wonder they were everywhere in our apartment. Overall midtown looks nice but is absolutely disgusting and all they care about it’s trying to scam you out of money. Do NOT live here.

I love the Midtown Apartments!!! Most of the people on their staff are so nice and helpful. Lynda from Midtown is the best person I have ever met in my life. One time my cat fell off the midtown balcony and Lynda from Midtown caught my cat and saved its life. I love Midtown!!! :)

It's a wonderful place for students to live and Hallie is absolutely wonderful! I'd give ten stars if I could!

PARENTS BEWARE!! Hidden fees. Called to see why the rent was $30 more than expected. They charge monthly for parking in the parking lot. $2 "convenience" fee to receive your check. $250 one-time fee Would not and will not renew. Fast forward 3 years. Management called me shortly after posting this review and asked if I would delete this review. I did not. They have since said that a vanity was cracked, which it was like when he moved in, but our mistake was not reporting it. It was a small crack. It is now showing up on my son's credit report that he is delinquent for $150. We have since had it removed, but parents need to be aware that this is a money maker tactic, and I would not recommend leasing this property.
