The food was excellent. The service very poor. The ambiance poor. It’s located in the middle of an open hall with wooden tables and chairs, greasy. They don’t sell alcohol. Soft drinks are very limited. Extremely expensive for what they offer.
My friend asked me to come with her here and I'm super happy she did! This is a cute hidden spot in the Grove from the same owners as Wabi Sabi. My friend opted for the omakase which was $100 and served all at once on a plate and I got the Midorie bowl which was really good and I found to be a good value! Really delicious fish and sushi!
They do not take reservations and they are BYOB and don't charge you a corkage fee or anything.
Had the most amazing experience here! So refreshing to see such a unique place like this. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, amazing service, top quality fish, extremely fresh ingredients, overall low key chill vibes. Definitely becoming a regular thank you 🙏
This place is great. I’m going back soon. Food quality is excellent. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the chefs are incredible with a beautiful fish selection. Sit down, order an omakase, and relax.
At Midorie, you're greeted with いらっしゃいませ!(irasshaimase!) on entry, which is a fun welcoming touch.
A solid omakase experience that doesn't (entirely) break the bank like others in Miami. It's $100 per person for the 12 piece Nigiri omakase (and you also get one Maki roll = 6 pieces). The fish is fresh and delicious. Each piece had its own flavor profile. Unlike traditional omakase where you get one piece at a time, they disclosed that they're a bit more casual and presented them all at once. The plating was gorgeous, though! The atmosphere was very nice and minimalistic, with chef-side eating similar to what you'd get at typical restaurants in Japan (although it's hard to peer over it to see what the chefs are doing). There is also extra seating outside. It took a little while to get the food.
Overall, I'd say it was well worth it!
Amazing service and food! The fish looked and tasted incredibly fresh. Everyone at the restaurant was very welcoming and the space is very cozy. Omakase is definitely worth the splurge
The food is really good here. I will say it is a bit expensive, but the poke bowls cam be very filling. You are sat very close to the chef and they will talk to you the whole time which adds to the whole friendly vibe here. Ive seen complete strangers sit together to eat. If u want good food and vibes you should come here.
I believe is a well deserve three ( I consider myself a sushi expert) my friend brought me here because she saw this place on some influencer TikTok or something about new places, the price is $100 for 12 piece omakase nigiri, which is fine, in New York is popular that price, but the fish wasn’t fresh, my favorite are otoro and hamachi, which I didn’t really like it here, and also the rice was falling apart, the service took some time, you can’t order any alcoholic beverage you have to bring your own. The atmosphere is minimalistic, at peak hours the sushi bar gets busy and people can sit outside or in some chairs inside. They have a lot to improve. I think a well deserved three.
Staying at Mr C (cool hotel 2 minutes walk), I passed the place and loving sushi I decided to check it out. It was nice find. Got seated at the bar with no wait time (solo traveller) and right away the staff welcomed me and took my order. The food to
Maida & Silvano were amazing hosts. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, perfectly located, and you can enjoy fantastic views. They pleasantly surprised us with a gift card to their delicious restaurant (seriously, it was ð¤ð») and a bo
Great food and fast service! We sat outside, and people watched. It was a nice restaurant to end our day with. I loved the ambient lighting it was romantic. Lots of outdoor seating. Bar seating and indoor seating are available as well. I ate before m
Cocowalk is the place to be! From the people to all the shops and restaurants. Itâs the hottest spot in Miami right now. Feeling the ocean breeze and the good quality air. Nothing like it
I saw something on the menu called shrimp Lollipops. I had to order hat to see what it was. I liked the sauce on the shrimp. The sauce was placed on the plate in a decorative manner. I ordered that and the branzino filet. The filet came with a ve
I must of gone on an amazing night as I felt the place was just for us. Layout is beautiful and the service was amazing. Their creme brule was fantastic! Their bar has an amazing selection. It's a bit on the high end side for price but it's definitel
