Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tifton - Hotel in Tifton - 196 S Virginia Ave, USA

Hotel was a little older but was very pleased, room was quiet and very clean. It was nice and cool upon arrival and was glad that it was cool inside. It was 98 degrees outside. Customer service was excellent, Robin at front desk is absolutely awesome! I had a handicap room with roll in shower. I understand there’s nicer more expensive hotels but this was perfect for my family. Exceptionally clean and close to everything. Breakfast was okay, It was like eating at home so I have no complaints about it. It was so quiet there as well. I will definitely stay there again.

This is an older hotel but very clean and the service there was great, especially Robin at the front desk. I thought with the way things are that I would have to ask for housekeeping but was amazed once I arrived back at my room to find fresh towels and my garbage removed. Breakfast isn’t extravagant but more like what I eat for breakfast at home. I was really pleased that the room was cool upon arrival since it was 98 outside, also I’m handicapped and was very happy to have a bed that was low enough for me to get into without assistance. Will definitely stay again because it was so quiet and smelled so good.

Where to start. The place is like walking into a wall of water. There are dehumidifiers everywhere. The ac in the room would not turn on tryed to turn on the fan in the ac unit. It would work. The room was so so clean, and an old musty odor carpet was sticky. Bed was like falling into a pot hole on 75. Free breakfast. But other than the hookers walking the hallway and the people that live there being super load, it's a great place. Need a complete remodel.

The lighting in the room made the room appear "dingy". I reported the lighting issues. The A/C in the fitness room didn't work. The breakfast was acceptable but not "user" friendly. Several of us were looking for things like utensils and butter. It was hard to find. After I finished eating I noticed a small refrigerator with hard boiled eggs and yogurt. The staff was competent and friendly. ||C

The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. They do have an elevator. I did not use the pool or eat breakfast. I gave a four instead of a five because there was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. The description might not list them as amenities that I'll be honest. I think they should be standard just like a mattress.

Decided to visit family recently & stay at the Microhotel for 5 nights. Walking into the hotel it smelled like a musty basement (mildewy) & the only purifier in the lobby was caked in dust & looked like it had never been cleaned. That smell permiated through out the entire hotel. Upon arrival of our room not only was the heat turned on (in the middle of summer) but it was also very muggy. We turned on AC & that helped with the heat but our entire stay the room stayed muggy. After showering it felt like we needed a new shower because of that feeling in the air. The room also smelled mildewy (which we had to buy air fresheners to help) & the room itself looked as if it was falling apart (see pictures). Bed sheets & towels had red stains, shower curtain was ripped in several sections, carpet had either dryed up cat food or cereal which we had to throw away, fire alarm had no batteries, hair was left in the shower & bed sheets, rust on door frames was bad, coffee maker was absolutely gross, & there was a large stain caked on the window looking out our room. It felt as if there was no care given to the cleanliness or appearance of the place at all. Overall the room looked & felt cheap, which after spending almost $400 I was expecting better. Next time I visit family I'd rather spend the extra $200 for a nicer hotel room & experience.

Great price. Not a good room. Queen size bed. Not too much other room. No fridge. VERY NOISY OLD AIR CONDITIONER!!!! Had to wear ear plugs. Old carpet. Very nice clerk at front desk. Clean bathroom. Breakfast was ok. Pillows fair. Probably won't stay there again. Pet friendly .

Checking in was easy and the clerk was extremely personable and friendly! The price of our room was very reasonable, our room was very clean, and the water pressure in the shower was strong! Highly recommend staying at a Microtel!
