Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Stockbridge/Atlanta I-75 - Hotel in Stockbridge - Exit 224, 195 Country Club Dr Off I-75, USA

This location needs a complete renovation. The walls are nasty and the paint is needed through out the hotel. The elevator is one of the worst I have ever seen. My profession is an Elevator Code Compliance Inspector. I noticed that the manufacturer of the elevator was Premier Elevator. I do not know if they maintain it but it needs a major alteration as well. The hallways leading to your rooms smells horrible. The carpet needs to be pulled up and replaced. It's disgusting. Many of the doors to the rooms are not level and as a result light creeps in at the bottom. The paint in the rooms need to be redone. The paint in the tub is peeling and needs to be redone. The shower head had rust. Some of the light fixtures did not work. This is the first time i have even been to a hotel where there would be s charge for early check in of a ready room. I was completely taken aback. The pool area was nasty and the "fitness center" was inadequate with out of date equipment. There are a number of other issues that should be immediately addressed

Wow. If I could give no stars I would. We were rudely greeted by front desk. Then told to get on a very rickety elevator, the floors were moldy and squished as we walked. Our room was all nicked up and disgusting walls. Then we looked at the beds: visible bugs on sheets, blood splatters and pubic hairs. We left so fast. It was beyond disgusting and front desk offered no compensation. Hallways were loud and smelled like weed. STAY AWAY!!! This place is not only disgusting but unsafe and gross.

HORRIBLE DO NOT GO HERE! It’s roach infested and the walls have scratches all over them the floor shakes on the upper floors like your on a boat. The man at the front desk was rude and not pleasant. The cleanliness was outrageous and so dirty we walked into our room checked it out and walked out because there were hair, bugs, blood, and even random stains I don’t even want to know where they’re from! It also has no smoke signs everywhere yet still smells like weed. Even after we told them this they still refused to give my family and I a refund. Overall please do not stay here.

Positive: Some of the cleaning staff are very nice. Negative: Do not stay here. They don?t keep up with the facilities in the hotel. If you?re a digital nomad or work remotely. This is not a hotel for you. Online, it says they offer continental breakfast (just a waffle and bread, only), and no meeting room.

It’s ok. The breakfast is bland and simple. No meat, veggies, or fruit, they have only just carbs. Some of the staff are nice. The housekeeping needs better hygiene regarding gloves. They clean the bathroom then would head over to change your bed. That’s NASTY and unsanitary!

Positive: The beds are comfy Negative: The staff wasn?t as friendly as expected. There seemed to be a lot of false advertisement at this location: No towels for swimming, no business/ meeting center for printing, the breakfast is horrible. It?s just two bread items loaf & waffle.

The hotel itself is nice but the desk staff are rude and incompetent. Housekeeping is very pleasant. They discriminated against me. They asked my kids and I were asked to leave saying I had too many "black bags." They were speaking of hug trash bags in which housekeeping has on their carts. I only carry duffle and luggage. I also had some bags from the grocery store in which there are three of in the area. I did in fact let one of the desk staff check the room twice and he continued the lie. I asked for management and they refused. I spoke with another rep at the front desk and gave him permission to check as well. He went right along with the lie and continued to refuse my request of speaking with a manager or the owner. The mayor has been contacted and an activist as well. No one should be treated in this manner. And there should be better staff running this hotel.

The room was very clean and comfortable. But the breakfast was mediocre. Not much to choose from. And the pet fee seemed excessive. $60/night for two cats
