Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham South Hill - Hotel in South Hill - 111 Arnold Dr, USA

We were in the area for scuba diving at Lake Phoenix. We checked in to another local hotel and we left that hotel after an hour. It was a hotel across the street from the Microtel. We called around and Microtel had one room left, we were so grateful. The young lady at the front desk was exceptional, as well as the rest of the staff we encountered. The room was clean and neat, the rooms ac worked great and the room refrigerator was nice and cold. There was good pressure from shower and tub. Overall a really good experience, I would highly recommend this hotel. One very minor issue was the hook on the bathroom door needs repaired, room 409.

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times now and each time I was very satisfied with how clean it is and the friendly staff that runs the property. However, my husband mentioned something about the comfort of the bed in our room. It was soft as if it's like a blow-up bed. I slept good though. They offer good breakfast in the mornings from 4:30 am to 9:30 am. A lot of parking for the guest. Walmart, Five Guys and other shops right across the street from the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The atmosphere was very quiet and I was able to sleep after 12 hour shifts. Front desk pleasant and the overall hotel feels very welcoming. I will definitely stay here again.

I always wear socks in my room and rarely are they clean in the morning. I dreaded wearing my pastel pink ones but it was all I had packed. But when I removed them in the morning to leave they were just as clean as they were when I put them on. This is the cleanest place! Love it here! And so do my pups! Thanks for the great stay! I had the opportunity to work with the staff at the Mircotel in South Hill over the past year while planning a family reunion. General Manager Michelle Warner was exceptional to work with through the process. She was attentive, responsive, and helped our family throughout the weekend. For a smaller area, the facilities and rooms were top notch and provided everything our guests need for a relaxing weekend. I will definitely recommend the Microtel Inn for anyone passing through or visiting South Hill!

This was a stay during the State Babe Ruth Baseball Championship. The hotel staff met all our needs! Because of heavy rain games had to be rescheduled and days added. They exceeded our expectations. A great place to stay.

So we usually stay at the best western right across the street when we come down here and visit family. This time we wanted to stay at a different location. We enjoyed our stay very much with a few complaints. The first room we were placed in was very nice. For a family of five we were pretty comfortable. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom. The only unfortunate thing was that we had to ask for a different room because the people above us had kids doing somersaults or something. We called the front desk multiple times to no avail. I went down to the front desk and I literally had to SEARCH for someone to help me. This was at midnight but someone should be available at all times. When I finally found her she did help and was very nice and very helpful. Just didn’t like that I had to go searching for some help. Breakfast food was pretty decent and overall despite that inconvenience we enjoyed our stay and will return when we visit the area.

My family and I stayed here several times and until this last stay experienced such unprofessional customer service from the time of check in until check out. The employee at the front desk and the breakfast area was rude and has no customer service skills at all. Children were running around and babies were in the employee room behind the desk. One employee came in the lobby cursing someone out on her phone. The profanity used was the up most worst ever heard. Employees smoking at the entrance of the hotel. With the rate I paid this is unacceptable.
