Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mankato - Hotel in Mankato - 200 St Andrews Dr, USA

I've had the safest experience, having spent many nights at the Microtel Inn in Mankato. The hotel employees are all courteous and helpful. You always receive a smile from the employees when you walk by. It's a really positive atmosphere. ensuring my extended visit was comfortable, safe, and welcomed. I think the management was kind and understanding with me when I was anxious when I arrived at the hotel and experienced several difficulties with payment on my end. Because I was staying for several nights, I did not enjoy how little my room was, yet the service helped me transfer rooms without any issues. I inquired if one of my roommates could remain for a night, and the staff said that although the reservation was made for one person, they may stay in my room with me provided they paid $15 per night which i feel is reasonable. My two rooms were pleasant and tidy. The waffles were also excellent. The luxurious shower was my favorite feature of the hotel. Although it is comparable to any other shower at home, the longer tub made it more comfortable to recline in. the hotel is also by easy to access restaurants and even a mall for shopping . the mini fridges have a lot of space to fit food and the microwave works nice as well. I was actually terrified as a young adult living alone in a hotel room for several nights, but I felt much safer because to the atmosphere the personnel established. It was a lovely visit, and I could see myself returning.

We enjoyed staying here—nice bed, good breakfast, and above all, excellent service. The environment was fresh, and the staff was very friendly. We would love to stay at all these Microtel locations. The attention to detail and the warm hospitality made our stay memorable. We highly recommend Microtel for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant experience. The convenience, cleanliness, and overall ambiance are top-notch. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

More good than bad for sure. It is a budget property so not sure what some people expect!||Pros: very clean, good location and friendly staff. Not on a major highway so it's nice and quiet.||Cons: breakfast was sparse, wifi is slow, housekeeping was still cleaning our room at 4pm (check in is 3pm)

I had great experience, Nalesh was great to me and made feel welcomed. Easy check in. Clean and well kept rooms. Great location. The next time when I need to stay in the hotel in Mankato, I will definitely choose Microtel hotel. ||My #1 choice for Mankato.

I liked this hotel so much. Clean rooms, affordable prices, polite staff! Everything was excellent. The next time when I need to stay in the hotel in Mankato, I will definitely choose Microtel hotel. After spending so many times stays in hostels in Washington, Madrid, New York and many other cities, this hotel was as a paradise.

(Uploaded photo proof) When i arrived at the hotel there was dog poop by the front door to start off with. So I walk into my room and i am immediately greeted by the smell of mildew/cleaning products as well as a dried stain dipping down the wall. Then I noticed the stained carpets. After that I went to take a shower and the bath mat looks like it has never been cleaned under with black rings around the mat itself and mold in the shower caulking. After all this I decided i should check the bed. There was a grey stain on the comforter... yummy. The mattress cover has yellow stains on the sides and the pillows were the worst part. Not only were the pillow cases stained and dingy but the pillows themselves were absolutely disgusting. They had various shades of yellow stains all over all 3 pillows. So naturally I headed to the front desk to KINDLY ask for ONE new pillow. And I was quickly informed that this hotel does NOT have ANY extra pillows. I also informed him that my pillow was disgusting and I didnt want to sleep on it, but it was of no concern to him. Needless to say I will never give microtel any of my money again.

Positive: The shower was awesome. Room was clean and staff polite. Cleaning lady was awesome personality. She was on 3 floor cleaning when we left. Great lady. Negative: No mini refrigerator in room. I was disappointed.

I simply loved staying here for couple of nights. I just felt at home. Not many option for breakfast but it was good. It was very peaceful and beautiful view our side. Lots of restaurants are nearby. I loved the services and management. I forgot my keys in the room and manager did a nice job by opening the room for me while my husband was outside. I will definitely stay here again if I get a chance and recommend others. It’s as well v clean and new motel .
