Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lillington / Campbell Univ - Hotel in Lillington - 300 E Cornelius Harnett Blvd, USA

My family was visiting the area from Atlanta and Microtel was the closest to my family' home. We arrived on 07/26 for 1 night and the moment I walked in I was impressed with the cleanliness .I work in the travel industry so I visit many hotels in different countries.The room was clean & the beds were comfortable. My grand children was excited about the using the pool but unfortunately I didn't have enough time for that but they enjoyed just staying.The location was perfect! Not too far from my family & so many restaurants and stores to choose from. If I ever have need a hotel again I will definitely stay here!

WORST experience ever and to pay $100 + for a room of this nature! I’ve been to good hotels in downtown Chicago and it’s been in better shape. Shower fixtures not attached properly and rattle, no internet, my soda won’t stand in the fridge because it’s not even, this list could go on and on! RUN FROM THIS PLACE ASAP!!!!!

Most concern was cleanliness and no smart TVs in guess rooms. Elevator was obviously dirty as it was in times past when I have stayed there. Maybe because the floor was old and you can't clean old linoleum floors.

Take power strip with you! room has 1 outlet available in the bathroom and ones at floor level on left side of bed. If you need to charge anything other than cell phones you are out of luck. The room was clean but we felt the bed was very hard. Breakfast was adequate but there were a lot of carbohydrates in the offerings.

Front desk was very rude when I went down asking for the crib we paid for, stormed to the second floor because that’s where they were and gave attitude the entire walk with me to the second floor, and then gave attitude when I asked for a sheet for the mattress for the crib.. beds were the most uncomfortable hotel room I have ever slept in.

The hotel is conveniently located and is the only place to stay in town. Stayed over Christmas and had previously stayed there early in 2023. Between the two stays I noticed a deterioration in quality. Little things, but significant enough. For example the breakfast was lacking certain items like no toast but there was bagels. The juice machine was out of order. Only one bar of soap in the room which we shared between the sink and the shower. We were not told there was no housekeeping on Christmas Day, returning to the room that evening in the same condition we left it. I had to go down to the front desk to get fresh towels and 2 bars of soap. Unfortunately it is the only place in town and one has almost no choice but to stay there or travel longer distances to another property.

Positive: there were bed bugs Negative: there were bed bugs, the indoor pool was moldy and smelled horrific neither i nor my daughter could breathe in that room

Positive: "" Negative: No soap in bathroom, handicap room was at far end of 2nd floor. Pillows were very hard.
