Overall not bad, room was clean but really humid so it felt wet. Couple snotty staff but not horrible, housekeepers were sweet and very attentive. Breakfast was pancak, waffles, Oatmeal, cereal, bagels, muffins juice, coffee, not fresh eggs and bacon or sausage but they had microwavable mini sausage biscuits and ham patties. For the price it isn't horrible I guess.
The room was small but definitely a good value. It was very clean.The bed was super comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly. It was quiet and relaxing after being on the road. Breakfast bar is lighter than most.I would definitely book again.

Clean and truly comfortable in all areas. Staff was highly affiant and friendly. I've stayed at this motel every year in June for the last six years and I have always had a great experience. Its proximity to shopping and restaurants is excellent.
We had a large group of our autocross group spend the weekend. All our travelers thought the recently remodeled rooms were fantastic plus a bargain. I am a die hard Marriott titanium platinum running up 100 nights a year and this property kept up with many Fairfields and Courtyards. Front desk for our four days were polite friendly and went the extra mile!!

I've stayed in several Microtels, but never one with suites. There was nothing micro about it! Lots of places to hang things, well lit, cozy window seat. Desk clerk went above and beyond to solve problems connecting my phone to the WiFi. Only drawback was that the rooms are not very sound proof.
Our airbnb got canceled, and we were frantically looking for a hotel in Independence for a wedding. We went with this location because of other recent reviews, and it was so close to everything we needed. The employee working the desk was so sweet and helpful! The rooms were very clean and there were no problems in the room at all. Even has a microwave and mini fridge for storing snacks and food. Breakfast was also great! Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Independence and will be back here in the summer when we come back!

Parked here but hiked west-east based on some recommendations. Probably would go E-W next time as miles 1-9ish are tougher in my opinion. Nice parking lot. Great trail with excellent blazing. You won't get off trail.

Have taken my grandchildren here once a week all summer for 10 years. Fair price snacks are affordable entry price very reasonable. Keep it clean. So blessed to have this in our area.

Went in on a Saturday and food came out steaming. Which is always a good sign for a restaurant. They were busy as usual on a weekend, and the service was great! Served everybody like we were important.
