Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bellevue/Omaha - Hotel in Bellevue - 3008 Samson Way, USA

We were heading to Omaha to see family but an unforseen illness changed our plans while on our way! (I recommend getting the insurance now.) Since we didn't have insurance, we missed the window to make changes/cancel our stay. This also meant our dog would be joining us in the room.||||At check in, the lady on staff was super nice and helped me with all the paperwork and when told about the sudden addition of the dog was happy to assist me to add the pet policy paperwork/charge as well. It was no big deal and she was very eager to welcome our extra guest. He even got some treats! This was our second stay and it was just as good as the first. Great staff and rooms, and all at a great price in an excellent part of the metro. I recommend this place to all folks who want a quiet, safe place they can stay at for work, family or any other reason!

Location is great, service was fine, good breakfast. We had a bottom floor corner room right by the breakfast area which was convenient, but you can hear everything in the halls, dining area and outside your window. Not much for insulation for upstairs. All we heard the entire stay was the upstairs people who are very loud. The price was high for not having great amenities or being as nice as some nicer places in the same price range. The shower head in our room is a scum buildup so the water sprayed everywhere, also isn’t screwed on tight enough and water was spraying out the side. Heat didn’t work..The room was so cold from the AC being on high before getting there and we couldn’t get any of the heat settings to stay on.

I stayed one night at this hotel with my family while driving across the country. Our stay was restful and enjoyable. The hotel and our room were clean. The staff at the front desk were funny and helpful. The location was great. The hotel is next to a gas station and up the street there’s a Target. There was minor wear to the room, but that didn’t bother me it added to the charm of the hotel. If I had to describe the vibe of the hotel it is cozy.

I recently had to stay at this Microtel when my move took away word turn, and I was going to be out of the place to live for two weeks. They were kind and understanding due to the fact a storm had knocked out most of my lens communication ability to transfer funds around to be able to easily pay for things The employees made me feel comfortable in my stay and the rooms were clean and great. The Internet could’ve been better, but compared to everything else is barely a foot note. I will be returning and continuing to use this place as often as I can, and any other windham properties

We recently had to stay the night here due to the power outage after the storm that happened here. We stayed the night of August 4th. Hotels in this area were completely overwhelmed. There was a little confusion with my reservation at first which had me pretty worried, but Kylie was very reassuring and managed to get us a room. She seemed genuinely concerned about us and even let us check in a little early to escape the heat. With as crazy and hectic as it was, she took the time to give my dogs some treats, and us some bottled water.She went above and beyond to get us taken care of. Kylie was a rockstar. The room looked and smelled clean and had everything we needed. The price was very reasonable as well. The staff was super busy but very nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

Another horrible Microtel experience. Once again (happened to us in Texas earlier this year) we called early in the day to confirm our reservation and told them the time of our arrival. They said all was good. But when we arrived and they gave us keys to our room, we used the key only to surprise another guest already staying in that very room. What if that person had been naked? Such bad business. Then it took the desk clerk literally 30 min to find us an unoccupied room. She probably gave us one that had been marked not to give out because there were stains on the carpet in the room and it obviously needed to be replaced. The carpet in the elevator looked thrown in, wasn’t even tacked down, and the hallways were literally 78-80 degrees…sooooo hot and stuffy.

1. The bathroom had an aggressively dripping shower head/faucet. By our first morning, the bathroom was flooded. I thought it was due to the water splashing out, so we closed the shower curtain and thought that would fix the problem. That evening, it was even more flooded. We had to use every towel to absorb the water. I reported it and was told that we'd have to stay in the room due to the hotel being at capacity. Nobody ever came to look at the room or fix it. We were there for three nights, four days. And had to walk into a flooded bathroom. We were not ever given clean towels either. It was not a pleasant stay. The final morning, we woke up and realized the water was NOT coming from the faucet, but from the light fixture above us. When the people upstairs took a shower, it leaked through the ceiling, into the bathroom onto our heads. Upon checkout, we explained everything to the front desk and she put me on the phone with the manager. The manager told us that she'd issue us a refund for the room if we sent her the video of the water running out of the light fixture. My daughter sent that while we were still in the parking lot, before we left. We never received a refund of any kind. I followed up with another email to the property, but it was never acknowledged.

I have stayed here twice now, both times the staff have been incredibly nice and welcoming. Both times I felt like I was in a clean hotel & I believe it to be true. No funky smells, not a noisy hotel, but it has always been Sunday nights I’ve stayed here. Almost wouldn’t know it is a pet friendly hotel.
