We had reached out to the property and corporate about our troubles and never received help! When we stayed the bed had yellow wet stains and hair on the bed. When we tried to leave the room to talk to the front desk we had to PRY the door open. Before we reached the counter she said “not going to work out huh?” Like she knew!! After talking with the property manager they said - 3 days later - the bed is clean and door is fine. Of course after 3 days! After requesting a refund they said “it is not showing signs of what you said and we are remodeling soon.” After talking with corporate they only apologized for not getting the answer we want! We begged for help with no response :(

Handy location for a weekend break; enjoyed the hotel with the exception of too many lights after bedtime. The hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. There were many restaurants nearby and interstate access was great. This was our first time staying with Microtel. We will use this chain again in the future. Comfy bed, towels in good shape, everything in working order.

Honestly, it was the best Microtel I've ever stayed in and one of the cleanest hotels I've seen. I travel a lot, visiting family and for work and I was very pleasantly surprised. It was a last-minute booking for the 4th of July weekend, didn't cost us a fortune & we brought our dog with no hassle. Staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, were very nice and welcoming. Has an indoor pool and small patio area outside the pool house, fairly large parking area. Right off the highway but still close to town with use of side roads. Low traffic area, and even being beside the highway very quiet area. Not a single issue or complaint. Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel smelled clean but room smelled skunky. Was given air freshener. Found a dirty hat in the bed. Room was missing some wood panels and a little run down. Overall, ok but probably not worth the room rate. Staff was super nice at check in and out.

This place is old and not clean. Pool is freezing. No chairs or tables by the pool. Pool bathroom is out of order. Ac in our room doesn't work right . It wont stay on you have to keep messing with it. The mattresss are old and worn out. 3 tiny pillows per bed and you can't get more. Room bathroom is very dirty. The whole place needs a good cleaning and painting. Definitely used and abused. We booked 3 nights and staying 1.

I genuinely love this little budget hotel, and the rooms are always extremely clean, comfortable, and inviting. It's a basic hotel, no fancy amenities, but it's the perfect place if you're just needing somewhere nice to rest. Only a few free breakfast options, but they're always stocked with a smile from the morning staff. My friend and I stay there every year for a convention in Beckley, and the service has been exceptional every time. The staff are always smiling, polite, and helpful from housekeeping to the front desk management. We absolutely adore speaking with them. The only complaint I have is that the AC units don't seem to work very well. Aside from that, the hotel is cute, cosy, and tidy.

I booked this location for our vacation. The price was great and did not expect it to be so clean, with staff so nice, helpful and attentive. My daughters and I were impressed. Cont. breakfast was well stocked, we sat them clean everything, and even saw a carpet cleaning machine mid day. A little dated but they are hoping for a remodel. We would stay there again either way! We read the reviews and decided to ask the front desk clerk to see a room before committing. She was great. We saw a room and it was clean, quiet and beds were great. We stayed a night and had a great night sleep. I thought it was fair to give a good review to balance out the bad.
