Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Airport - Hotel in College Park - 4839 Massachusetts Blvd, USA

We rolled into town around 4 am and needed a place to get a little rest. All the other hotels were booked so we took what we could find. I would have gladly slept in my car knowing what I know now. We paid for a king bed and got a full. Not even a queen. The cleanliness of the entire building is suspect. I literally didn't want any of my belongings to touch ANYTHING in this building. The bed sheets had holes. The fridge was crazy loud. The TV remote wouldn't adjust the volume. It was just a hot mess of a stay. We slept on top of the sheets in our clothes. Even then we still left the non-smoking smelling like cigarettes. Yeah.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. I’m not trying to put anyone out of business, and to be fair, the gentleman at the front desk was kind and professional. However, this place is not only very dirty and in a state of semi-abandonment, it’s also dangerous. When my flight was canceled at 12:30 am, I had to find a place to stay. The only two options were the Westin at $370/night or the Microtel at $115/night, so I opted for the more budget-friendly option. It was terrifying. People were knocking on doors all night trying to buy drugs, fighting, and screaming. I wanted to leave, but I was too afraid to step out of the room so late and didn’t know where to go. The room was filthy, with hair everywhere, and cigarette burns on the bedding, pillows, and curtains. I can’t understand how a place in this condition can legally operate. Seriously, stay away. You’re better off and safer sleeping on a bench at the airport.

THIS PLACE IS DIRTY, DINGY AND DISGUSTING!!!! DO NOT BOOK....the sheets and towels are dingy and gray, the bed sheets and spread had holes and stains. The floor had not been swept or mopped, hair and trash was everywhere. I asked to change my own sheets, the manager said I was too picky because I wanted to change rooms. His attitude was like the hotel...THE WORSE!!! No breakfast, no late checkout, everything about this hotel needs to be condemned and boarded up, including the employees. Laundry room should be closed off, broke machines and filth everywhere...took $4 to dry my clothes. I don't know what more I can say....people were leaving and finding other hotel while I waited for the airport shuttle. This hotel is an embarrassment to be associated with Wyndham!!!!!

We were placed in a room where the air conditioning was not cooling properly and was making a loud noise. Additionally, the TV was not functioning, and the pillows were extremely thin. The doorknob in the bathroom was also broken. Due to these issues, we were unable to get a good night's sleep for two days. On the third day, we kindly requested to be moved to a different room so that we could rest before our long drive. However, the gentleman working at the front desk around 9 pm on April 29, 2024, who claimed to be the manager, seemed reluctant to address the situation and informed us that there was nothing he could do. I politely asked for a refund for one night so that we could seek alternative accommodations and get some rest, but he remained unresponsive and offered no solutions. After my partner insisted on finding us a different room, he finally agreed to move us after 15 minutes of inaction. He informed us that he had only one room available, which was a handicap room. We expressed our willingness to accept any room as long as it was quiet and had functioning air conditioning. He then provided us with the key. Based on our experience, I would not recommend staying at this establishment.

Everything about this place was horrible, but the worst part was the front desk guy who works day shift, I am a young women 23 years old and traveled alone with my dog, he asked me if I wanted to “make a little extra money” (for s3x) and followed me in the elevator to ask for my number. Made me feel extremely unsafe knowing he had the master key to my room.

HOLY 💩 this is the absolute worst hotel ever my first time being on a plane I land in the heartsfield airport and come into this dump at first the guy was cool let us check in early after we turned the corner it turned to 💩 paint missing carpets torn smelled like straight dog 🍑. We went to the room stains in our sheets and all that ants crawling around terrible. We prepaid for four days went out the first day we got there not even for 8 hours came back our door wouldn’t open and it took them 20 mins to fix while sitting in their stinky lobby then we decided to go across the street instead which is 100 times better she wouldn’t give us a four day refund and we didn’t even stay there for 5 hours never go here I’m so serious man to man woman to woman negative stars. This is my first ever review I’m only doing this to save y’all’s lives.

I have stayed at Wyndham hotel in the past, but this Microtel is the absolute worst. Assisting the homeless is fine, but paying guest should not be subjected to a less than quality stay. No iron or coffee maker. The TV reception was horrible. Only network and local stations were available. The place reeked of cigarettes and Marijuana. No ATM or computer available as advertised. Please don't stay here!!!

Front desk attendants were rude, sheets were dirty with stains, hair, and just overall crumbs. The floors were sticky, dirty and were just overall gross. Bathroom door didn’t latch, handle was holding on by a thread. Half of the outlets didn’t work. The shower curtain didn’t even reach the floor so every time someone showered the bathroom basically flooded. The whole place reeked of mold, weed, and cigarettes. Random stains on the ceiling, walls and just everywhere else. When we asked the desk attendant for new sheets since they were stained she seemed as if it was an inconvenience and only gave us one flat sheet and 2 pillowcases. Even though every item was nasty. Do not stay here, it’s not worth the money at all even with the low price point save your time, money and yourself.
