Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Altus - Hotel in Altus - 3210 N Main St, USA

No elevator, handrail on the stairs fell off while I was using it to support myself, no refrigerator in the room, the room itself is outdated, very small and NOT soundproof. The service was excellent and kind. The hotel itself doesn't do it's employees justice. Overall I would not return or recommend.

The staff was super friendly. Sheree was super nice and extremely helpful. She was also training a new employee (I didn't catch her name), but she was extremely nice and helpful as well. ||||We stayed there because we had to attend a graduation in a nearby smaller town. We happened to pick a night when a tornado touched down and heavy rains flooded multiple businesses. Both Sheree and her trainee were in the process of cleaning up the lobby after the storm when we returned from the graduation and dodging the storm. ||||The room was basic. You could tell it had been awhile since it had been updated. But it served the purpose it needed to and that was lodging for the night. If we weren't able to use our Wyndham discount, it wouldn't have been a good value, but for what we paid it did it's job. The breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast, with your basics, and a waffle maker.

The front staff were amazing! I booked the hotel the same day after I found bed bugs at the nearby hotel( DI). They were so helpful and accommodating! Although the hotel needs some updates, it’s clean, and relatively spacious.

We were woken up at 1230am by the terrible smell of pot. After a short walk we found the desk clerk and another person smoking pot by the rear door, right beneath the Air Conditioner intake vent. There was no way we were going to get any sleep at this establishment.| | They clearly need to re-evaluate their hiring processes if this behavior made it through.| I have never had this issue anywhere else.|| If I could give 0 stars I would.

Positive: It was at least clean Negative: It could have been better if staff seemed approachable. They seemed to look the other way. When I checked out by placing the room card on the counter, the man working did not look up from his phone. The breakfast area was dirty, understocked.

For the love of god go elsewhere. I just got into this room about an hour ago and besides the fact the furniture looks like it was purchased at a thrift store, there is a 90s style tube tv that has a notification that the tv isn’t in HD. I pressed the wrong button and now only home shopping is on the tv. You’re better off sleeping in your car than this dump. Did I mentioned that the tv is in the dumbest place possible for a double?

Positive: Free washer & dryer & a better than usual breakfast. Negative: Not anything I can think of.

The room as in being clean was real good but I had a 2yr 3yr old and when you walked to the bathroom the carpet sink in you could tell under that carpet was a hole where the floor was carpet covered it up when I walked to the bathroom felt like a big hole but that was the only way to get to the bathroom but other than it was good
