This place is by far my favorite place in Geneva for wine and food! Although you may only expect to get drinks, the food is absolutely amazing. All of the dishes had such unique flavors and careful attention to detail. We tried about half of the food menu - oysters, salad, ceviche, squash, and pork belly. You can tell that Anthony & Ellie truly want you to have a personalized experience. The atmosphere was laidback and homey and we met some of the regulars! Get to the Microclimate as soon as you can!
We had an awesome time at Microclimate in Geneva while visiting the area for vacation. The owners (who also work behind the bar) are friendly, funny, and humble and make the cozy environment perfect for a lowkey date. We had a few glasses of local wine and several dishes from the creative food menu (Yuzu ceasar, cold noodles, burrata tomato salad) - do not sleep on the food here!! You could have your entire dinner here if you wanted to or it’s also perfect for a few “tapas” before a sit down dinner. Microclimate is a breath of fresh air in a region that does not have a lot of modern bar/dining options that are millennial friendly. We will definitely be back next year!
Mi husband and I were in NY for some reason one tasting near Seneca lake. We found this bar accidentally. They have a wonderful wine list, delicious food and wonderful ambiance! Don’t skip it if you’re in the area.
Well-curated atmosphere, wine list & cuisine! Owners Ellie & Anthony are always a delight to be around. We look forward to returning to Microclimate time after time. We make sure to keep checking back often as their use of seasonal ingredients keeps the menu fresh! Come early, come late, come often!
Awesome. Great cocktails, tasty food. Hippest place I’ve been to in a long time. Made me feel young again.
A nice place for a date night. I've also been here for wine tasting. They serve really great wines.
Great wine and beer spot. We sat and talked with the bartender and patrons for numerous drinks. Very welcoming and a great place to kick off your downtown Geneva experience.
I've been going here for years and always had the best experience of any wine bar. The owners are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and have one of the broadest and eclectic selections of wine (and some beers to boot!), both by the flight and by individual glass. The décor invites you to step into "old school" European cafe coziness (brick walls, old wooden floors, warm yet dim lighting) while still with a New York flair (modern artwork, etc.). Definitely a gem for years in Geneva, and hopefully for many, many more years to come. Definitely recommended and I'll be back as long as they stay open!
So happy I stumbled upon this spot! As a vegan, it was refreshing to find in a small town. Delicious bagel and the juice was one of the best Iâve ever had (strawberry rhubarb). HIGHLY recommend!
My husband brought us here for date night and it was my first time here. I was instantly charmed by the outdoor hostess and seating - the inside atmosphere was just as good. The service was wonderful - our waters never got less than half full before
Our wedding here was just incredible. The space was beautiful and somehow felt both spacious and intimate for our 102 guest wedding. The light through the big windows felt magical through the ceremony and cocktail hour in the back bar, and the string
We had a fantastic time at Billsboro winery. The patio was beautiful and the wine and chocolate pairing was divine. We loved the dry riesling, the rose, and the adante. Our server was lovely and welcoming. She sent us home a corkscrew with our purcha
I went to another shop in Geneva and walked right out. I felt uncomfortable with a creepy man piercings my nipples. Plus he was rude to my boyfriend. So I found Bea . @as above so below. The place was so clean and mesmerizing. I needed a female pierc
Food was excellent. I ordered the whole wing dinner with fried okra and crinkle fries and my husband ordered the haddock dinner with greens and fried okra. No complaints at all. Food was fresh, seasoned well and hot. They cook the meat to order so be

Not a fancy place but the food is to die for. I always have the pulled pork with rice and beans. It's a huge portion so you can share or have two meals out of it. Delicious.
