The owner/manager was very accommodating and answered all my questions in a genuine and helpful way. Pizza by the slice is a great option for solo travelers and is a nice surprise to discover it was available. The store has charm and character. I particularly liked how well lit it was it felt very Christmas like.
Very very good pizza with quality ingredients. Crispy and soft crust, no flop. Very charming with good mom n pop ambiance.
Only downside was that it was very cold out and we went to dine in and the doors were WIDE open. They said we couldn’t close them so the entire dine-in area was freezing cold. Definitely took away from the experience. Pizza should be eaten fresh out of the oven.
Service is as amazing as their pizza. Truly authentic NY style pizza. One of their employees Ethan was awesome. Also got to meet Karen the owner and she was so sweet. Gotta love my long islanders!!
Best oven cooked pizza in NK. Period. The red sauce, the quality of dough, the owner’s default cook specificity and crust are all A+. We did half plain and half pepperoni. We also got the garlic knots that were incredible. Looks like this is our new pizza place!
Updated: after posting my initial experience I connected with the restaurant and they went above and beyond to rectify what was seemingly an honest mishap with the recipe.
Customer service was top notch and on 2nd go around the pizza was very good!

Initial review: Ordered 2 pizzas for takeout, got home and at first bite realized they were SO SALTY they were actually inedible

Really nice selection for by the slice. That kind of thing is my favorite. Couple different flavors of Sicilian. The regular pizza is a nice thin crispy crust. Garlic knots are great too. This place is small and HOT so I wouldn't plan on spending any time in there on a warm day but just go eat your slices outside.
$60 for 2 LG pizza pickup order and to be greeted at the counter by some kid who acted like I was doing him a disservice by being there. Not the business model I would of went with lol

This was my first time trying coal fired pizza and it was not disappointing at all. I had the pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza and it was delicious. Along with the trivia they have in the restaurant, it is a very enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere.
What's to say other than wow! A friend brought me there for lunch while I was visiting and my sandwich blew me away. The hell's kitchen was so rich and tasty with so many flavors that they must have made a deal with the devil to come up with it.
