Michelle's Kitchen - Caribbean restaurant in Vineland - 632 E Landis Ave, USA

My husband and I visit Michelle's Kitchen when they first opened and the service was poor. At that time the food was good but we dislike the customer service. We tried again on another occasion and still the same poor customer service. Due to the poor customer service we decided not to support this establishment. Last year November 2022 my husband wanted to surprise me with some jerk chicken and it was not the best. The jerk chicken did not have any smoke flavor to it. In my opinion it taste more like bake chicken with BBQ sauce pour unto it. I told my husband no more ordering from there. I can't support a business that continues to be rude/unprofessional. The owners should do some research on customer service or take a course to better their customer service. I/we will not go back there.

Mac and cheese plate is advertised as $15 for some reason was charged an extra $2.50 for Mac and cheese... on a Mac and cheese platter? And the Mac and cheese was microwaved and wasn’t too great to have paid so much. However the jerk chicken was a little cold but still amazing, as well as the yams. Food is great just don’t get the Mac and cheese.

I was in town wanting some good old Taste of the Island on Landis, come to find out they have closed or relocated. So my brother suggested Michells kitchen, he told me the food was good l. I want some jerk pork , but their options were limited. The guy was very inpatient & rude. We bought four platters and they were not that good. The cabbage could of been better and the jerk chicken, all I can say is who can't make chicken! Maybe if the man severing would of been more friendly the food might of tasted better. For this I give 1 star... Do better with the people you hire in you establishment. This was 10/16/22 about 1pm. Teach this guy please!!!!

Stopped into Michelle’s for lunch after a long day of walking around Vineland. My friends and I placed a few orders of the Jerk Chicken (Spicy and Mild) w/ Rice and Mac & Cheese. Absolutely delicious. The portions were HUGE, and the chicken came right off the bone. Each meal had vast flavor, and the Spicy Jerk was no joke. If you want heat, you’re going to get it. The restaurant was clean and orderly, Michelle was kind and patient, and like I said, the food was amazing. Worth every cent! I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of her menu. Thank you so much!!!

Kinda good food and terrible attitude. I’ve had their food a few times and it’s pretty good. I always get a medium jerk chicken platter with rice (and Mac and cheese in the rare case that they actually have it). I just went there around 5pm today and as soon as I walked in, they yelled “WE HAVE NO MORE FOOD!” Every single time I’ve gone they've been incredibly rude. If you own a business you should probably be at least a little nice to customers. At least that’s my take.

I had the jerk chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. This was a great meal! The large order had a good amount of food I feed 2 people. Michelle's Kitchen is definitely on my most return again list. The restaurant was clean and organized yes I highly recommend it. The owner said they close when the food is gone so call before going. Definitely give them a try

Excellent food! Stumbled across this hidden gem. The owner was so nice and personable. Food was seasoned to perfection. Huge platters!!! Not from around Vineland area but I would go out of my way to eat there again

This was my first time visiting this establishment, and I must say I was very impressed. The place was exceptionally clean and cozy, the service was helpful friendly and fast. I got the fried whiting cabbage rice and beans and it was delicious! I gave this place a 4 out of 5 rating for two petty reasons... 1# I was told they don't have lunch specials anymore and 2# they didn't have my fried dumplings lol. Overall, great fresh food and I will be a returning customer
