Killer menudo! Every time! Always consistent flavors. We also love other menu items! Burgers, onion rings, pancakes.. Been coming here for over 25yrs.. Of course price has to adjust with inflation. Although the stay reasonable; and the employees are always great! The owner as well takes much pride in this place. He even comes out to greet the guests. Atmosphere is perfect and stays clean.. Plus, a wall of whittier and sfs history is such a nice touch 👌
Had a chicken sandwich . No drink, no fries ..just the sandwich. Cost was a bit over $11 bucks. This sandwich was sad. Flat and and dry. Definitely not worth the price. Will never order again. The staff was nice and service was fast.
Their food is tasteless the fries has no seasoning and the sodas flat. even the chicken nothing on it. overpriced
Food was great .. they have a couple of chains and this is the second one I tried that was still keeping the taste. They had a fire a couple of years ago and the ambiance is pretty.. also the service was extremely quick. I ordered, got my soda, used the restroom and my food was there by the time I was doing … the people are friendly too.. if I’m in the area I’ll be back again ! Thank you for your experience!
Poor rating because the pastrami tasted like old hot dog. No flavor, the burger was tasteless and the French fries were cold and dry.
Moved my shop down the street from this corner joint on Allport Ave, other than the good food, and super chill atmosphere, turns out it's a small world. Highly recommended. Place is clean, and as far as what I've tried, everything's fresh. Thank God this place makes your order fresh. I hate old fries. And you won't find them here.
The burgers are good. My recent favorite burger is their Western Burger and Chili Cheese burger. Their fries are ok. I had their Sausage Omelet with Hashbrowns and it was bland, not much flavor. Hashbrowns are dried out (probably from sitting too long before being cooked). I give em 3 out of 5 stars. Oh and an FYI...their booths are not fat guy friendly lol.
Ordered a breakfast burrito with sausage thru UberEats. It contained no egg. It should be called a sausage and potato burrito.
