Having been in California for several years, I've gotten used to good Mexican food. This restaurant was a reminder of how truly mediocre someone can make a burrito. While the service was nice, it doesn't make up for the fact that the Char-Broil steak burrito was the physical manifestation of the concept of bland. I would say this food is of a quality you would expect in an overly large cafeteria rather than in a restaurant. It does the job if you're starving but isn't somewhere you want to go for a night out.
45min+ wait for tacos, 20min wait for 1 horchata and a double shot that was more like a single. Ppl with phone orders took priority over walk-ins and dine ins. The tacos were nothing special, tried it out due to its proximity and amount of traffic. Michael's needs more workers or a hells kitchen visit.
Stopped here after a long hike in Pinnacles National Park for a late lunch on a Wednesday. Chips and salsa were good and served almost immediately after we sat down which is great when you're hungry. Drinks came really quickly too. Same benefit. We tried the red chili enchiladas which were good. Their red sauce is very new Mexico legit but with zero heat. Coke served in bottles with cane sugar as expected. Beans and rice were good. Very solid overall nothing to complain about. Great option in a good and safe area.
This is the best place for Mexican and American food. I order for them about every day on DoorDash. Thank you very much I’ve been very pleased with all Michael’s Grill’s and Taqueria.
Another of those hole-in-the-wall restaurants, I can think of few places with the quality of food at such reasonable prices. Anything they make with blackened shrimp. Is especially good, again at a more-than-reasonable price. Located not too far from the Amtrack / Greyhound station, it's well worth a visit.
Food was ok 3/5. Service is 2/5 because they stated their internet was not working well, and could accept cash. No one could take Paypal or Venmo, so the waitress suggested I go to the ATM half a block away. I took out $40 in cash, paid the $3 service charge, then returned to the restaurant to pay for my 3 tacos. Only after I paid them did they start making the tacos. I got nothing extra for my troubles of having to withdraw money and paying the $3 surcharge, not even some tortilla chips. I'll go elsewhere whenever I'm in town.
Appetizing is everything we find appealing, mouth-watering, delectable, savory, delicious, palatable, inviting, tantalizing, toothsome, luscious, tempting, tasty, enticing... all in this one plate of food! My first visit and definitely not my last!! Reasonably priced, friendly staff and cooks that make Michael's Grill and Cantina feel as if you had a home cooked meal.
Good food, abundant portions at a great price, fast service. Order incorrect as chicken instead of shrimp, and sugar soda instead of diet. Parking available a block away.

Tried as many of the "Estilo Hidalgo" items as possible and they were all bangers. I wish there was a restaurant like near where I lived! Friendly, family place, great in all ways.
I am a huge fan of the Blue Zones Vegetable Burrito. The flavor is so good that I don't miss the cheese or sour cream. (I ordered it two days in a row.) I am so glad the tortilla is whole wheat and really appreciate there being flavorful vegan option
I flew to the Salinas with two friends. Airport restaurant was closed on this Veterans Day. We took a short walk to this location and were not disappointed. Great fish tacos with fresh made tortillas and a unique Mexican flavor Weâll be back.
We started here as part of a three winery tour on a Saturday. We were the only people there early in the day, and we had a long visit with the winemaker. The setting is perfection! We loved the wines. We would definitely recommend, and we will defini
