Good for sports and big parties but the grass is very thick and hard to play soccer.
No bathrooms, no public bathrooms close by at all.
Great playground for the kids with some open fields and sidewalks all around. My little ones began bike riding here because it is such a gentle slope. My only complaint is that there are always many, many dog walkers who always seem oblivious to the problems they cause.
It's a nice public park on the lake. Many people walk their dogs there. There are plenty of hiking trails too. The only downside of the area is the possible residual contamination from the Rocky Flats fire in 1969 that was near the area before it was shut down. .
Nice local park. It has 2 playgrouds...one for younger kids (good for 2 to 4 yo) and a larger one. Also a nice covered gazebo w picnic tables. Its also close to Excel Academy and so 50 yds away there is more playgrounds and 2 basketball hoops. My only suggestion would be for a bathroom, but otherwise great.
This is by far our favorite park in Arvada! There is a huge field. The playground is unlike any other! It is brand new, and has some great features I've never seen anywhere else. There is a huge, colorful climbing apparatus, along with a cargo net. There are two climbing structures: one for smaller kids and one for the big kids. The structure for big kids is still accessible to the smaller kids. There are great slides, including a HUGE spiral slide, a tunnel slide, and a curved fast slide. The best part was the fun stairs, which aren't traditional stairs. They are basically just a block to step on, attached to a pole. There's just a small railing for balance. It's fun and presents a challenge! There are also traditional stairs, and plenty of ladders and other methods of climbing. There are regular swings and baby swings, and also a teeter-totter, but not a traditional one. The teeter-totter is one you stand up on, similar to standing on a snowboard. There is a handle to hold. Even my small child loved this. On the separate section for smaller kids, there are "bugs" to ride and bounce on. The bee is big enough for an adult to sit in the back seat while the child sits up front. The structure here includes slides and ladders, and also a mini rock climbing slope. The ground cover is mulch. There are also trails to ride bikes on around the park. There's not much shade covering the playground.
Michael Northey Park is a nice little public space tucked back into the neighborhoods backing Standley Lake. There are several areas to sit, a moderately large playground, and a very large field with a 1/4 mile sidewalk loop surrounding it that is great for people who want to walk or bike but do not want to go far. The field also has a basketball court tucked into a corner. The park also sits along the Little Dry Creek Trail, which allows access to many other nearby neighborhoods, as well as the trail's great views and long-distance destinations. There is parking, but it is a very small lot of around 10 spaces, to try to keep the park to locals, so it's not crowded. The park also backs up to Excel Academy, a local K-8 school, that has 2 more playgrounds, as well as another basketball court and a larger parking lot, that are open to the public outside of the school's hours.

Itâs a beautiful park with basketball court, 4 tennis courts, ring toss(I think) , playground and a lot of trail and a pond. Thereâs a toilet too. A lot of benches and picnic area. It has parking area inside the park.
Walked this trail today - quiet, clean, and well-kept. There was a peaceful little creek that runs through a portion of it, which was nice. Also appreciated the rec center nearby that came in handy for a quick restroom break!

Nice park with s good path to walk around the lake. There is also tennis courts here, as well as a playground for the kiddos. Ducks and geese do like to hang out here so you do have to try and avoid the poopies. But other than that there's some real
This is quietly one of the best places to play tennis in the entire world. I am not being hyperbolic. The courts seem to hang off the side of the hill, making you feel like you are playing on top of the world. It's epic and surreal. Do yourself a fav
We LOVE Robby Ferrufino park! There is a covered pavilion with 3 4'x4' picnic tables and an electrical outlet, a pretty big playground, a cement, one hoop basketball court, a backstop and about 4 acres of green lush grass. They have two porta potties

Came in for a coffee date with my wife, the place is warm, welcoming, and homey. We really loved it. They made a mistake on my bonfire burrito and the owner immediately corrected it and gave me her card with a free drink. It was a very sweet gesture.
I cannot believe I live just up the street and I have never been until now. I go to a ton of breweries so its weird I never went. I thought it would be empty at 2 on a Friday but it was not and it was hopping by 5. Most social brewery I have ever
Best dog park in the country! This "off the leash" dog park covers several acres divided into 4 fenced areas. 2 lots for training, a medium lot, and a large lot for your dog to run free and safely. Water, bowls, trash cans, scoopers, bags, plenty of
Van Bibber is a somewhat crowded (at many different times of day, but not always), mostly flat trail that follows the creek of the same name. Patrons are fairly good about following the rules and I've hardly ever seen trash lying around. It's a good
