Mi Wuk Village Inn - Motel in Mi-Wuk Village - 24685 CA-108, USA

We staid for the 4th of July. The inn is under new management who are in the process of remodeling and upgrading the place. The couple who run the inn are very nice and friendly. We had a good conversation while checking in. They filled us in on where they are in their remodel. Although consistent with the price point, everything in our room was brand new. The shower head and water pressure were great. Everything was fresh and clean. Took some time to hang out by the pool, it was comfortable and quiet.

Tim at the front desk gave the best customer service. He let us know about local areas to dine and places to take the kids. Plus he had a beautiful dog he brought out to let our little one love on. Rooms were clean. Heater heated up the room fast. Location is perfect between Sonora and Pinecrest. Quick off and on and beautiful scenery all around. Quiet, comfortable, and great hospitality. Rooms have coffee, a fridge, microwave, tv, and toiletries supplied. Spacious room. Thank you Tim. Thank you for helping us start 2023 on such a great foot.

Room is clean and the owner is very nice. I like that they were very accommodating with our dog and needing a floor level room. Hot tub is clean and warm. My only criticism is that the mattresses are very old and slightly uncomfortable, and that the showers are plastic inserts ( very small and hard for a bigger person. The price was much better than other in Sonora, so I feel I got my money's worth.

My husband & I wanted to get away for a weekend so our dog could experience snow for the first time. We found the dog friendly Christmas tree inn online for a reasonable price. We were very impressed with the owner/ manager Tim. His pride of ownership really shows . What a nice guy! We felt like it could have been a B & B if breakfast were provided! He gave us perfect suggestions for dining. |This is not a 5 star hotel but I'm giving it 5 stars because we were so pleased with the hospitality & setting. Our room was clean & spacious & met all of our needs. The towels were nice & the bed was comfortable. The small refrigerator & microwave was a nice addition. When we ran out of coffee packets, Tim gave us more. We look forward to returning to this beautiful area & to see our new friend Tim!

We returned this year for a snow trip with our dog. It completely meets our needs with space & cleanliness. ( & dog friendly) The friendly owner is a hard worker who does a great job keeping it up. It is not 5 star luxury but it’s worthy of high marks- that’s why an excellent TripAdvisor rating...||The snow was perfect this year. When we arrived Saturday morning, there was fresh snow & a blue sky. It started snowing again just before the 2 pm check in. It snowed most of the night. This morning we had fresh snow & sunshine again before heading back to Modesto. ||The beds were comfortable. The bedspreads were just fine & the towels were great. We enjoyed the coffee maker but we did not use the microwave or refrigerator. ||On this trip, we also enjoyed Zoe’s coffee shop across the street for breakfast & light lunch.

We had to make alternate plans after fire in Yosemite closed the park. We stayed here for 2 nights. I can’t say enough nice things about the owner. He was so helpful and amenable. Room was ready early, he gave us helpful tips for every meal and things to do within an hour of the location. Don’t expect luxury, but the rooms were spotless, shower was fine and bed was comfortable. There is a swimming pool. We were there in July, but assume the location is also beautiful in the winter. |Definitely check out Alisha’s bakery in Sugar Pines for takeaway breakfast. Loads of places in nearby Twain Harte for dinner.

Rooms were clean, the beds were pretty good. Pillows sucked, but!! TV and fridge in rooms. I would stay here again.

We stayed at the Christmas Tree Inn after becoming stranded due to some car trouble. The room was comfortable and had all the basic amenities. The manager was exceptionally helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable. We had to extend our stay and check out super late, the manager was understanding, flexible, and nice about the whole situation. Overall, our stay was a great experience.
