Mexican food sounded good so we gave this place a try. Started with chips and salsa appetizer. Salsa was good but chips were probably poured right out of a bag. They should at least warm them. Wife ordered fish tacos and they were good. She got the fish blackened. I got the chicken burrito bowl with black beans. It was good as well. Service was good. Wasn’t busy or crowded when we went in but became busier as we were leaving. We would eat there again.

This is probably in the top two Mexican restaurants in Mt Airy. They have a limited menu but what they make is very good. We had quesadillas that were excellent. They also have a very well stocked bar and make very good drinks. The bar tender are very personable and will make about anything you ask for. We’ve never had a bad experience. They fill up fast, so go early.

The only reason i put 4 stars for service is due to just the one waitress handling all the table's or at least it seemed that way. She was goo, but her availability was not. That was due to her being bus, so there were no bad words to say about her service. she was supper busy anddidn'tt have much help even though there were others there to assist. Even with that, i really like this place . Drinks are awesome, and the food is amazing...

Not only was the food and drinks amazing but the owner actually came in on Sunday to return our gifts that we left there the night before! Very thoughtful and considerate.

Great atmosphere, but bland bland bland. If you love mexican food, this place is not for you. I wanted so bad to love it, but I couldn’t. I give detailed reviews so here we go. 1. Atmosphere is lovely. It’s a small restaurant with a nice bar. Feels more like a bar than a restaurant honestly. 2. Employees. They were all wonderful. HOWEVER….. 3. Food. I was so disappointed I left in a bad mood. I have never met a taco I didn’t like until today. First they charge $3 for a basket of “chips.” The “chips” have got to be from a Tostitos bag. I got mild salsa. Absolutely ZERO heat, zero seasoning. It was comparable to stewed tomatoes. The tacos were beautifully plated, but a huge disappointment. The meat may have been slightly salted but other than that there were no traditional taco flavors, no seasoning, no heat. I don’t mean it was “lightly seasoned.” There was NO taco flavor to these tacos. The refried beans were like soup. And the rice was bland. I truly wanted to love this place, but I just couldn’t.

We enjoyed a nice dinner of Bang Bang shrimp tacos, black bean, rice, with chips and salsa. The portion size for the shrimp was excellent, not skimpy at all! The bang bang sauce was also just right and not too spicy. We had a Grand Rita Blackberry which was delicious as well. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive to our needs. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered suggestions which we appreciated. We loved the atmosphere and felt the value for our money was excellent. Will be back for another awesome date night!

This place was amazing. Highly recommend. We got the street corn nachos, taco salad and shrimp tacos. Everything was large proportions, fresh and great. Restaurant and bathroom clean and service was good and quick. We've added it ti our rotation of dinning out places. The only not perfect thing I'll mention was I didn't love thr taco salad salad dressing. It was sour cream and salsa mixed. A good Chipotle ranch would have been better in my opinion. Definitely give it a try!

I would have loved to post a picture of the al pastor tacos that I planned to order along with the sunrise margarita. However, we were 2nd on the waitlist after a party of 3 and watched a party of 2 that were friends of a server get seated ahead of us. After waiting another 20 minutes we were finally seated and waited 10 minutes with no one coming to our table to take a drink order while my husband watched 2 other tables that were seated after us have the servers come over and take orders. That was enough for us and we left.
