Best authentic Mexican restaurant in Elizabeth city by far. Atmosphere is so welcoming, service was outstanding, and the food 10/10!!!
The staff are so nice and attentive!! The fresh table made guacamole is amazing. Pollo alla pina and anything with the chipotle crema is a must-try. Alambre is a great dish and all of the vegetarian options. My family drives into Elizabeth City from Hertford for this and they never disappoint. Highly recommend.
This was the Happy Taco, but is now under new owners. We had the Fajitas Mexicanos, and it was wonderful! Great service, too! Definitely returning for more of their delicious food!
This restaurant is located in the old Happy Taco location. Fantastic food and very attentive service. Very authentic, no skimping here on the salsa and chips like most Mexican restaurants do. The Carne Asada is fantastic. This place is now the best Mexican restaurant in EC by far. Recently tried the Birria Tacos with Street Corn (off menu item), it was fantastic.
Nice clean facility . Wait staff are very quick . Food is very flavorful . Price is a bit higher then comparable restaurants of the same cuisine. Drinks ( adult ) are very very good . Be careful of what you ask for ( prices are very high for special mixes ) I paid $34.00 for a large margarita with patron .woooo.
Staff was very friendly, the food was delicious and hot. Several staffers stopped by the table several times to check on things. The waiter was on point. Knew and did his job well.
I ordered food from a phone call guy on the speaker was nice, when I got there they handed me my food and I payed and left then when I got to my driveway with my food they called me and said that they were supposed to hand me 2 bag instead of just one so I drove back and the person who came outside and handed it to me before I was even able to get out of my car was apologizing a lot and handed it to me. Over all it was fine didn't see the inside much so can't say how clean or nice or whatever but it has good staff and good enough food for the Price
My new favorite Mexican Restaurant in Elizabeth City! Food was excellent. Nice menu. Service was a tad slow and it's obvious either the waiter or cooks did not understand my wife ordered vegetarian combo number 2 cause they brought out regular combo. Manager came out, grabbed and, and within a few minutes got it correct. Waited too long for the check so we just got up and went to pay.
