MHO Monmouth Junction is a classic American motel.|Located just off US 1 in New Jersey its well placed for visits to New York, Philadelphia, Six Flags or the Jersey Shore resorts.|The place offers free parking and clean spacious rooms. |The price is fantastic for what you get and the people are all friendly and approachable. |There's no breakfast, just complimentary coffee in the lobby but for breakfast I'd heartily recommend Monmouth Junction Diner just 5 minutes drive away. A classic diner with a host of delicious breakfast options. |All in all I can't fault MHO Monmouth Junction.

We paid a reasonable price given that we stayed during a known busy weekend in May. The room was clean and comfortable, and the minor issue with the a/c was immediately fixed by the front desk (with a promise of a new room if it returned). The best part of our experience was that after we left and I realized I'd left something important behind, the hotel manager searched the room to find it and then mailed it back to me the next day. Great service! We'll be back again.

I booked a 2-bed room for 4 nights. Overall, I felt as though the room was quite nice, the staff were pleasant, and it was a great stay!! The room was a little small by some standards, but it fit both beds, and there was plenty of room to move around and place your things. Perfect for our 4 nights and never once felt cramped. The minifridge (with freezer compartment), microwave, phone, hairdryer, and closet were all very nice to have and made the stay really convenient. The AC in the room worked wonderfully and was not noisy. Room service (I assume, we were always out) came through and replaced our towels and soaps every day. The door and keycard were simple to use, and we felt very secure as the door would automatically lock after a few seconds of being closed. The room was very clean and very comfortable for the price!! There were a few small things that I was nitpicky about - the top cover on the beds was scratchy and not very pleasant to sit on. I would recommend bringing your own blankets as I did (though my family had no problem with them). Also, at one point, a small piece of garbage *that did not belong to us* appeared next to our trashcan? I assume it must've fallen off the cleaning cart or something like that, but it was a little strange. Along with this, we found a lone cigarette butt in a weird spot on top of a cabinet. The room had no smell whatsoever, so it must have been very old, but strange nonetheless. I know that these things may turn somebody else off, but personally they were very easy to dispose of, and I didn't feel like they affected our stay. Aside from these little blips, the room was very clean and good quality. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again!

We only stayed for one night arrived around 8 p.m. and checked out by 7:30 a.m. The check in process was quick and easy and the gentleman at the desk was very friendly. For the price of the room it was what I expected and I do not mean that in a bad way. The room was clean and had all of the basic amenities and the bed was super comfy! The property and location felt safe. I'd definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

As a solo traveler, this place felt pretty safe. The room was very comfortable, and very clean. Checking in was very simple, and the staff is very kind. It’s conveniently located close to various stores and food places too, with good parking.

Much better than expected from the price and the reviews. Our room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked, including the wi-fi. The hotel was not crowded or noisy. Check in and out were easy. ||There is no breakfast, just coffee. The location is not great for much of anything - Monmouth Junction is way outside of Newark/Jersey City. The hotel is right on a busy, divided highway, but it's hard to get to a lot of places because of the New Jersey "all turns from right lane".||But the really annoying thing about this hotel was the 5-feet tall list of things that are prohibited, posted right next to the front desk. If they were TRYING to be unwelcoming, it would be hard to do better than this.

The hotel was a stopover for us on our way to New York. I was not actually expecting anything more than a simple motel with basic facilities but it surprised us. It was actually very well kept & the rooms were clean & comfy with decent facilities. Our package did not have breakfast so could not tell you about that but all in all very nice.

The hotel seems a little unsafe. After we arrive there and receive a room, we go to the room and found out that the room door is broken and you can just open the door without the room card. Also, the phone and some lights in the room are broken. But the service here is good by changing the room for us right after we told them our concern.
