MGM Grand - Casino hotel in Las Vegas - 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, USA

We really enjoyed ourselves. The room was nice but they definitely need updating and renovation. The service was impeccable from the check-in to the bellman and the concierge. The lazy river was everything too!!! We spent an entire day in the river!! The only issue we had was the smell throughout the entire resort. It was pure cigarette smoke. They need air purifiers if they are going to allow smoking. All in all it was worth the price and we really enjoyed ourselves!!!

Love this place! The staff is excellent 👌 Yes some rooms are tired but they are starting to update rooms. Many nice restaurants inside this hotel 🤗 MGM pool complex is amazing 😍 The best part, MGM Casino has lots of machines so you can enjoy your stay! And MGM Rewards is an appealing and rewarding loyalty program ✅

I had a great time at MGM The last river was packed and the water was so murky due to the amount of people in it. It was still fun …just don’t put your head underwater because I’m sure there is #1 and #2 fecal matter in that water. We stayed in the renovated rooms that have a pink/ salmon color scheme. It was a good size and super modern. Totally worth the price and would stay here again.

We had such an amazing time at the MGM Grand. Service was impeccable. Seriously, everyone that helped us was so friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were HUGE. Could they be updated a little? Sure, but my room had a great view, was clean, comfortable, and the maid service was great. I accidentally left all my credit cards, $200 in cash, and some other expensive things in the room, not knowing maid service would come for two nights, and nothing was missing. The Lazy river so so much fun and pool service and food was wonderful. Yes the restaurants are expensive but it’s Vegas, that’s how much things cost. I don’t understand being upset about the price. Bring your own food if it’s an issue! The hotel and casino layout was huge but not confusing with easy access to the rest of the strip. Can’t wait to return next month!

First time staying here and I was very impressed with how hard the staff worked to treat me like royalty. Shout out to Brandon and Cynthia for handling me with care and respect. I am one grateful and happy customer! Keep up the amazing work of making customers feel special and valued ☺️

Jair was absolutely amazing throughout the check in process. He explained everything well and made sure we were well informed and taken care of. Staff is friendly and kind. The hotel is very big and has lots to offer. Lots of action and entertainment. Great location and great for what you pay. $18/day for self parking. Rooms are okay. Nothing fancy, a bit outdated but clean. I would recommend MGM grand. Smoking is allowed. At MGM park it is not.

Review of MGM Las Vegas: A Disappointing Experience My recent stay at the MGM Las Vegas was a disappointment, to say the least. The issues began the moment I attempted to check in. Despite the hotel’s advertised check-in time of 3 PM, I was informed that my room wasn’t ready and that it would take another 1 to 1.5 hours. I had planned my day around being able to settle in by mid-afternoon, so this delay was already an inconvenience. However, what followed was even more frustrating. I received a text message at 7:35 PM—over four hours after the promised time—informing me that my room was finally ready. By this point, my plans for the evening were already disrupted, and I was left with the impression that guest satisfaction was not a priority for the MGM. When I inquired about the checkout time, hoping for some consideration given the late check-in, I was told that it would still be 11 AM. This was particularly aggravating. How can a hotel advertise a check-in time, fail to deliver, charge the full rate, and then expect guests to vacate the room by the standard checkout time without any adjustment? When I raised this concern, I was met with a simple, “Sorry, we are busy,” as if that justified the situation. The lack of accountability and the failure to make any gesture of goodwill—such as extending the checkout time, offering a pro-rated rate, or even providing a sincere apology—left me feeling like just another number in a massive crowd. The hotel’s handling of this situation was unacceptable for an establishment of its supposed caliber. The most frustrating aspect of this experience is that I didn’t have a choice in staying here; I was attending a business event hosted at the MGM. Given the choice, I would never select this hotel for my stay. The mismanagement, lack of transparency, and disregard for the guest experience make it clear that the MGM prioritizes volume over quality service. For anyone considering staying at the MGM Las Vegas, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere, especially if you value a reliable check-in process and expect to be treated with the consideration that any paying guest deserves.

There are so many things wrong with this hotel I don't know where to start. I will begin with the fact that it seems like no one works here. We did our check in at a kiosk which was new. We went to our room and the air conditioner wasn't working so we called the front desk but no one answered the phone. We waited on hold until it was just hung up on the other end. When we finally spoke to someone on the phone it was a customer service representative who lives in India, not even in the hotel! They told us they would send a technician at some point the next day but we had to spend the night with an air conditioner that doesn't work and we had to wait around all the next day in the hopes of getting the issue addressed. We asked if they would move us to a new room and they said they didn't have any other rooms but when I went online, I could reserve a room. They also said they would not refund us. No attempt whatsoever to make our stay comfortable. I've never been treated so poorly at a hotel and never paid so much for such a bad experience. On top of that, the room was dirty. The light didn't work. They will charge you if you do so much as open the fridge so no fridge in the room. No coffee maker either. The room was small and very basic. It was just a horrible experience all around. Don't waste your money. Stay somewhere with a cool theme if you're staying on the strip. This place is boring. Casino is average. No service and no class.
