We absolutely can not say enough wonderful things about Chef Tim Spangler and Mezzogiorno. Chef Spangler prepared a gourmet meal for us to enjoy at our home through a generous charity donation for an at home dining experience. He was beyond professional and prepared. Our guests were thrilled by the entire experience and of course the delicous food. Every part of the meal EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! The food here is really good; however, you will tend to wait a long time to get it. Also, be careful not to complain about your order being wrong. When I checked out, the cashier asked me how my food was. I told him it was really good, but then he said it would be better if it had my spit in it!"

Decided to give this place a try this morning for the breakfast they offer at the York City Market. Food was over priced based on portion size. The wait from ordering to receiving the food was about 40 mins and they weren’t that busy and the service was not great. In short, there are other food vendors in the market that are worth the wait and provide excellent service. Go there first!

Watch out for the hidden surcharge for using a credit card. They charge an extra 3% for using a credit card. My breakfast was ok, the server was great. However the added surcharge at the end is ridiculous. It’s just a money grab to get your customers to pay more at the very end of the meal when there’s nothing they can do to control the cost. I have no issues with you needing to raise your prices to accommodate but don’t just tack on an extra fee at the end of the meal.

TJ was a very attentive server and makes a delicious hot chocolate. The omelettes and toast are delicious. The pancakes are great, but served with fake syrup. The coffee is fine, but not Zekes. The pastry was ok, but not great... possibly undercooked? The experience was fine. I was expecting something a bit higher quality.

Located in Central Market, and it’s cool because you can see the live music from your seats. The Greek pizza was really good and they the staff was polite. Definitely a good market pick!

Delicious food! Everything was cooked perfectly, especially the homefries, which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. 👌 The chocolate chip pancake on the kid's menu was also delicious! Very fast and friendly service. Nice environment, too - perfect on a Sunday morning. Will definitely be back!

We went for breakfast and enjoyed our food and coffee breakfast pizza was great I loved the hollandaise drizzle my wife's omelet was a good portion and her grits were cooked perfect I liked them and I don't like grits. Food was good but I expected it to be slightly higher end from an Italian restaurant. Despite being short handed us and the other customers were well taken care of. I could see people finding the service and owner rude or off putting if they aren't used to the city's street swagger type of attitude/mentality. Good place to try and it's fun eating in the beautiful market house building.
