Very clean bathrooms, great staff, wonderful food. The owner was very friendly and easy to talk to. I have eaten here several times and love it each visit.

Food always fresh and hot, love the red and green salsa and margaritas are always good. Service has not been up to par of late but will continue to visit. Tables, chairs and walls all need a good cleaning/scrubbing.

The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was hot and in a timely manner. If you're in Mexia and want to sit down at a decent place come here. The prices are reasonable and if you go during lunch the specials are very budget friendly! Remember to tip your server

We left Ft Worth, heading to Houston, very early and looking for breakfast when we found this restaurant. We were immediately greeted and seated by the host. He took our drink order then our food order when the coffee was delivered. We were impressed by the woman making fresh, hand made tortillas! The food arrived hot and full of flavor! All the dishes were very good and hit the spot, in fact my dad got several tortillas for my mom to try they were THAT good! We are already planning our return visit when he head back this week! The price for 3 meals with drinks, and tortillas to go, was just around 20.00!

Me and my family of 4 went here for dinner my father ordered a soup my mother ordered a mushroom burger and my cousin ordered nothing. I ordered chicken fajitas that came with beans rice and a side salad and on the menu it stated that I had to pick 2 sides of Pico guacamole sour cream and shredded cheese. I chose sour cream and cheese. My mother's burger came out as the wrong burger which had guacamole and was a different burger from the menu. Her fries were also uncooked in the middle. She reordered her burger and fries. Came back out okay. While waiting for food a plate with some lettuce beans guacamole and rice came out separately from my fajitas. Being confused about what this was I ate the rice and beans. About 15 minutes later all of our food came out. My plate was just the fajitas no tortillas came out with it neither did my shredded cheese or sour cream. Waited 5 more minutes for our waiter to come back and asked him for what I had initially ordered which included flour tortillas and the sides cheese and sour cream. It was brought out 5 minutes after. He brought me 2 very small tortillas and cheese and sour cream on a plate. We ate and didn't complain for much more, ketchup and things like that. When it came time to pay they had charged me for their most expensive fajita plate which was 19.99 amd I had only gotten chicken which was 16.99 they also charged me for sour cream and cheese which I asked for and was stated as the two things I could order. They said they could only remove cheese. We paid and got out overall terrible customer service food was okay and atmosphere was okay

If I could give zero stars I would! I USED to love coming here and so did my whole family. Last month I buy my 86 year old grandfather a $25 gift certificate for his birthday, and they put the girt card on a receipt that included what we had for dinner. I tell them I would like it separately, so he doesn’t see our whole dinner ticket. They print me out a blank piece of paper and the manager writes on the ticket $25 and signs it…fast forward to last week when my grandfather tried to use it there they WOULDN’T ACCEPT IT. They tell him that the manager did not work there which I think is not true because he’s been there for YEARS and that the owner was not there so they would not accept it. I even questioned the method of gift card when they gave it to me, and they had reassured me that it was fine. I am NEVER coming here again and now I will be getting my grandfather a NEW BIRTHDAY GIFT that he can actually be excited to use. What a waste of money. I’m stuck in DFW without a way to handle this ,and no one will answer the phone. My whole extended family has decided to quit eating here as well. I will assure you that I will be spreading the word on the gift card situation too, so no one will waste money like I did.

Stopped by after a game. Didn’t realize it was karaoke night and it was super loud; couldn’t hear ourselves or our waitress. Ordered live guacamole and it was so salty we couldn’t eat it. My enchiladas were hard as rocks. I couldn’t even cut them with a knife. My son enjoyed his burger at least.

I really loved this place. I asked for extra spicy, and boy did they deliver. The beans and salsa were also outstanding. I plan on returning soon.
