I come here to stay every other weekend for school. I absolutely appreciate this hotel and the family that owns it. From the very first time I stayed, I felt safe and comfortable. I will never stay anywhere else in LA. The rooms are clean, the beds are so comfortable, there are plenty of places to eat and park nearby, and USC is only 2 miles away. This place is a good choice for anyone with events downtown.
Will never give my hard earned money to this place again. I get in from a long days work to find the powers out, no hot water. Missed an important zoom call I had to take for work because my phone was dead and I couldn’t charge because NO POWER no hot water and a steaming hot room with no AC. It was off from 8 pm until 5 am I know this because the ac turning on woke me up and I checked my time. I go down later at 9 when they have someone working the desk to see if I could get comped another night for the horrible experience I had the night before I figured that would be FAIR. I didn’t want money back or nothing just comped another night for the trouble. And the oldest employee which I think was the owner snapped at me “ no you get nothing call the city the whole city had no power! Hurry up and check out” Mind you when the “whole city “power was out. The Ramada across the street has power the other hotel on the corner had power it was all a lie and I knew it but he was very rude and didn’t care about his guests at all. Just a heads up people. The place is nice but the oldest worker is very rude and doesn’t care what goes on in that place. Very sad that happened because I’ve been there5 other times in the past 2 months and never had a problem. But now I can’t spend my money there after being treated like that.
Our stay with the Metropolitan Inn & Suites was affordable and enjoyable overall! All of the interactions we had with the owner/staff was friendly and easygoing. As the check in was at 2pm, they allowed us to leave our luggage there first and come back to check in afterwards. The room was spacious and clean and came with lots of amenities (towels, hair dryer, A/C, microwave, fridge, etc). The room was cleaned daily and they supplied us with cleaned towels. Although, we did find a baby bottle that fell beside/under the bed. Also, we did have an incident with our table but they were able to clear that up within the same day. Our room was toward the end on the third floor so the wifi reception was not the greatest, but when it did work it was good. They have an ice machine on the second floor and have free water and coffee on the first floor. We would definitely stay here again.
ugly area. It has rats don’t stay here. front desk is rude
Stayed here from Friday May 13th through Monday May 16th for a concert. There's a sign at front desk saying to not ring the front desk bell between 4AM-9AM so note to any travelers coming in early. We arrived at 9:30AM! Still too early to check in and we didn't want to pay a fee so we left our bags (they had a secure closet with a keypad to leave luggage). My friend and I went exploring around the city until check in at 2PM. Parking was $40 a night for Friday and Saturday. Only about 6 parking spots. The elevator is tiny, maybe can fit about 4 people if you squeeze, 3 if you have luggage, and 2 if you use the luggage cart. Complimentary coffee in the small lobby. The room itself was very nice and very spacious for what I've seen in L.A.! It was nicely updated and looked just like the renovation pictures-- very clean. They cleaned our room every single day we were there without us having to ask-- stocked our towels, made our beds, etc. The A/C was amazing and strong and got very cold at night just like we wanted, hot water when you needed it, nice water pressure. A fridge, microwave, TV, nice dimmable lights. I guess the only downside is yes, the walls are thin so you can hear the person coughing in the next room. Otherwise, that's it. A bang for your buck considering the Ramada was across the street for double the price. The lobby was also locked at night so you'll need a room key to get in which helped us feel more secure in the area. Both the guy and girl receptionists that we encountered were very nice and courteous. I'd definitely stay here again :)
DONT BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURE! Although the term “ you get what you pay for “ is true this hotel is definitely not worth the price! The property is filled with sketchy people hanging around so definitely don’t bring kids. There’s NO parking and we were told to park a mile down the road despite having multiple small children and the area being so horrible, when we expressed that we will be canceling both rooms (definitely didn’t want women and children around) there was no help , compassion or understanding from the staff . All that was said is “no refunds” despite an honest and just reason for wanting to stay elsewhere.
What a shame since the rooms were actually decent, except for the walls being so thin you can hear other people doing deeds next door. Not kids friendly. Also owner/front desk receptionist was the worst, had 0 customer service threw my card out when it had technical error. Asked for extra towels, they said “No” , asked for new hair dryer since the one in the room were broken, they said “No”. Ok…If you want to own a hotel, learn some customer service or how to communicate with people. Also don’t be entering our room and start coughing?!? When asked to wear a mask, he said “I don’t need to, it’s California mask rule”. Ok… but you’re in my room and you’re coughing though… Gross..
It was awesome hotel. Very modern inside rooms. I stay 3 nights in this hotel I really enjoyed it. Excellent staff little hard to understand them but friendly. Alexa controls everything inside your room. Very nice rooms and clean. Only issue is parking is wasn’t free. They only have 4 spots and cost $20 each night. Location of the area wasn’t that bad. I totally felt safe. Definitely a come back hotel.

Valentina and Helen are absolutely wonderful trainers. They always go out of their way to help everybody out: always giving adjustments to improve posture and performance. I always book a session when one of them is there. They also play great music.
My time at this gym has been nothing short of exceptional! I recently hit my 1 year anniversary and am proud to be a member of CrossFit Echo Park. At first I was hesitant about joining CrossFit in general due to thinking it was just a bunch of rugged
