This place is a tucked away hidden gem! My wife and I travel all over the world staying at different unique places and the Metro is now one of our favorite places to stay when we are close to home. The decor and style is just top notch and is very reminiscent to our stays in Northern Europe. I felt as if I was in Europe for the night ❤️❤️❤️|I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for and absolutely amazing stay. The host was extremely nice and made us feel at home. I'll definitely be back!

Fun! Fun! Fun! Great place. Quirky in the best way. Loads of eye candy sponsored by French antiques and great taste. Owner graciously upgraded us to a 2 room {my twin and I} so that was very generous. I took photos to send to my architect husband and his response was ‘WOW’…. Ok then. I think you get the idea.

My partner and I stay here regularly for a quick and comfortable getaway. It's comfortable and charming. Each room is a little different but they all have comfy beds with the most amazing pillows, good bathrooms, antique touches,and large screen TV's. I love how no matter what room I stay in the TV turns on to a Portlandia marathon on IFC 🤣. They've recently added well stocked mini bars. The red wine is a good deal. The breakfast is yummy, used to be included and now they charge $5 which is nominal. Location is great, only 10 minutes from downtown.

It's so hard to find an actual two-room suite for our family of four, and at an affordable price, in the Bay Area. I'm pleased to report that Metro Hotel doesn't just fit the bill, but exceeded expectation! We did a quick trip to Point Reyes and stayed at this lovely spot overnight. The kids enjoyed the crepes, and I enjoyed being able to walk to downtown Petaluma for dinner. An excellent choice, full of character and charm. Immaculately clean, with friendly service. Recommended.

This was my first stay at the Metro Hotel. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The room was big and attractive and clean and comfortable. The bathroom was great. It was the dog friendly room and there was a little fenced yard and deck. The breakfast was outstanding--crepes and all the fixings and really good, strong coffee--just right. All the staff was friendly and accommodating. And the price was reasonable. I'll be back and I'll recommend it to friends and family. Thank you, Metro.

I picked this hotel partly based on prior reviews and largely because I like places that are offbeat and a little funky.|It was great. The staff person who checked us in was super helpful and friendly. Our room was exactly what we needed and very comfortable. The entire hotel is decorated with a French “metro” theme, kind of a retro, mid-century vibe. Very cool. Every inch is decorated to theme, but it’s not too much. Somebody curated the decorations and furnishings extremely well. There’s a really neat dining room and an outside patio with a fire pit and bocce ball. |I can’t say enough good things about The Metro. We will definitely be returning.

I love the European vibe, it’s a little piece of Europe right in Sonoma county, which is fantastic. The breakfast was great and the coffee was amazing, the rooms were super cute and comfortable. Would definitely come back and I will highly recommend staying here.

An absolute delight. Heaven for quirky francophiles. It’s not a corporate luxury hotel. I’d much rather have a room with a clawfoot bathtub and a lamp shaped like a goose. The rates are super reasonable. Good location in Petaluma close to the downtown. |Keep in mind: The stairs to the second floor are very steep and there is no elevator.
