Mesa 21 - Portuguese restaurant in Fall River - 21 Lindsey St, USA

Very disappointed in the owners Dan and Pete. I brought my family there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. There was 6 adults, 2 children. We ordered apps “Baked” oysters and little necks. The oysters were not hot when they came out. 4 adults shared them. Thank God the 3 and 7 yr old did not have any. That night upon returning home; within a half hour my husband was Violently throwing up. I called the restaurant explaining and asking to speak to an owner. Bartender said he was no longer there. Half hour later my daughter and I was Violently sick. “And that’s to say lightly” it was the Worse ever.!! Called again the next morning. Left my name and number. Called again. 3-4 times. Bartender just gave me excuses that they weren’t there or they’re too busy, they have my number; they’ll call me back. Well you guys never called me back. Contaminated shellfish is very serious. You can die from it. To both Dan and Peter - You did not have the decency to call me back that is not how you treat your customers. You should care and be concerned about the Quality of food you serve your guest. You should both be ashamed of yourselves. I will never eat at your restaurant or recommend anyone do either. ,,,,,,

Excellent service and food. The staff is very well organized and hustles to provide the best service. The food is great. Taco Tuesday is a must try. $2.00 tacos with either dirty or truffle fries will hit the spot. The tacos are either: fish, chicken, pork or beef. My fav is the chicken. We went back and tried the Italian pizza. We also ordered the calamari and could not eat it all. The large pizza is like an extra large at most places. The Dragon Steak Nachos are insanely tasty and filling. The King Prime Rib special on Thursday is superb. Mine was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My wife gave the scallops a thumbs up. Back again and tried the Cod Cakes, which were excellent and I don’t like seafood. Our friend had the salmon and he said, “Good salmon, good potatoes, good food.” My wife says every time we come here it runs like a well oiled machine. Everything we have tried has been great. Back again for Taco Tuesday. Great meal again with great service. Always a great place to enjoy a fine meal.

We went there for a Christmas party and it was not disappointing. The Portuguese food was delicious with nothing negative to say about any of it. We had buffet style so we got to taste many of their dishes and deserts. Definitely on our list for good Portuguese food dining.

I took my family there for my daughters birthday, It was a party of 8 with two small children. We had little necks and baked stuffed oysters as appetizers, the oysters came out cold , the little necks were ok at best. Kids got pasta with butter and all the adult meals were ok with the exception of a steak that came out almost raw that was supposed to be medium rare.The problem was shortly after we got home ,of the 4 adults that had the oysters 3 of the 4 of us started throwing up and got severely sick , we determined it was the oysters .This establishment gave us food poisoning and Me and my daughter missed work the next day. Our bill was over $300 and we called them to notify them that they’re serving bad seafood and they never responded , we called multiple times to speak with the owner . No response, I was very close to being admitted to the hospital for dehydration. I will never step foot in that place again. Beware and stay away.If i could give zero stars I would .

Ordered a highland pizza, oysters, and fried fish burger. Food was good but it would have been better if there wasn't so much oil as the fried fish, french fries and pizza we're a little overboard. I couldn't eat more than 2 slices and I normally can take down half a large pizza. I asked for extra onions and arugula on my pizza and it seemed more like a normal topping amount instead of "extra." Whereas, there was barely any goat cheese and way too much of the regular cheese. A bit disappointing but hopefully they can change it. Ok the bright side, I like the environment. It's very cute and we were seated immediately despite the place looking pretty packed.🙌 Food 3/5 Service 4/5 Environment 5/5

We ordered the “Mesa 21.” The pizza was okay, I don’t think I would order it again. The pizza looked and smelled delicious - so I’m wondering if it was just an off night. The steak was very over cooked and tough. I ended up picking some of it off. Have been here for other food before, though, so will come back. Will order something different, however.

The Cajun chicken and Shrimp pasta with sausage is easily one of my favorite dishes in the area. Fish sandwich, steak sandwich and their pizza is solid as well. Can't go wrong here.

Great Portuguese comfort food. The pizza is wonderful too!!! Most of the time the food is impeccable... As a matter of fact, I only had something overcooked once. Delicious!!!!!! PS! Do not park in the lot across the street!!!! Even if that business is closed! I always parked there until my last visit when I had to run out to find my vehicle on a tow truck! The driver charged me $75 to take it off the truck. He cut his finger and asked if I had a bandaid...I said sure... I'll sell you one for $75. Lesson learned 😂
