Currently it's under construction but the park is still open well, as far as the grass and jungle gym area but the water park area is gated and being worked on . Don't know when they will be finished but hope that it's soon other than that Park is nice with green grass dog friendly and other than the local unfortunate I should say don't want to call them homeless or degenerate but other then them hanging out in the back concrete slab area they are respectful and usually don't bother the park visitors at least I am speaking for myself I go there with my dog and my 10 year old daughter sometimes even at night and till this day haven't had any issues or disrespectful vibes or remarks to me or my daughter. However parents this didn't mean to not have your guard up and a vigilant eye while there to your surroundings and the people in it . One must always be ready and alert to protect and defend their children and loved ones. So that's pretty much it and my sincere account of current encounters and most recent experiences at this park. The water pad is on and is a great safe place to take your kids. Clean and plenty of cameras. My kids had a blast getting soaked.
This park is nice but it's not the same anymore. My car got stolen in front of this park, overnight. My location is off D st, lived here over 10 years and it's going down hill. Love the location but the guys who hang out at the tables need to find a job. I just ignore them and avoid eye contact but they hangout all day.(Can't even walk to the store without them cat calling) Can't wait til they turn the water on and see all the kids happy running around.
This park is always full of homeless drinking and urinating next to the restrooms. Since the restrooms are always shut down
Small, but lots of equipment for the kids. Fairly busy after school. Clean, but often people have dogs 🐕 off leash, so cuidado (be careful).
The park is a really beautiful park with flowers and slides and large play area, BUT...Is it nice enough to bring your kids to during the day.. the restroom was filthy and several homeless people were sleeping nearby. I say if you stay away from the restrooms and water fountains then sure it's lovely place to play and enjoy....stay close to kids and pay attention.. Perhaps a security guard and janitor should be on staff to do daytime checks.

I have 4 sons, ages from 13 to 1. They all have fun here, it has something for everyone. It's summer time and the splash pad is currently on. Bathrooms are clean, kinda wet from the splash pad. It has shaded seating with benches.
