Mercado Juarez Cafe - Mexican restaurant in Fort Worth - 1651 E Northside Dr, USA

Excellent food service delivered with a smile. If a basket of chips are the norm for this Mexican cafe, they forgot to place them in the table. Would have been nice to see how their chips tasted - made fresh in-house or commercial made. Steak fajitas with the appropriate sides was fantastic, steak was of good quality, skirt cut right, not over cooked, excellent flavor, meat was tender. Able to handle larger parties, wedding dinners which was ongoing when I dined. I’ll be back, if for nothing else but to try out their chips!

This place is amazing! Love the interior with the trees. Food and service was great! Perfect location next to Country Inn & Suites in Ft Worth.

Our favorite go to for Mexican food. Always so good! Food is the best, service is the best! Very busy, but wait is short, and so worth it. Such an extensive menu unlike some other popular Mexican restaurants.They don't take reservations, but the wait is worth it. When they tell you how long the wait is, cut that time in half - always. Tonight we had a party of nine and were told it was a 1-hour wait. 20 minutes later we were seated.

First time visiting. We were sat down immediately and taken care of by a sweet lady waiter. The warm salsa was a nice change. I absolutely loved their margarita. The food was delicious, bacon wrapped shrimp doesn't get any better. The goat was falling apart and juicy. We left satisfied and content. Definitely coming back.

This is a nice place. A little warm by the kitchen area tho. The food is good and the drinks are flowing!!! Mr Carlos was very attentive to the large group. Food orders were executed well with no mess ups. I dont have to order cuz most people dont finish their food. I can jus gather untouched items onto my spare plate and go. Even the birthday portion of the evening went great! Mr Carlos had table cleared and plates with forks for the cake. It was a good time for all

Homemade flour torillas! The Queso is delicious! The chips and salsa are incredible! My family and I have been going here for many years and have always left happily. Sometimes, there is a wait to be seated because they get very busy, but it's usually not too terribly long. The servers are usually attentive and welcoming. My only complaint is that the restrooms could be updated. I hate taking my kids into the restroom there. The floor isn't level in the stalls so you have to be careful. This restaurant is too good of a place to have the restrooms in the conditions that they're in. That's it, that's really my only complaint.

1/20/23 @530pm I never complain about restaurant I just don't go back but. this one needs to be addressed. We have been eating here since they opened... food and service has always been great! We came this evening and had the worst service and food ever. Our daughters order was wrong, and attempt to correct was met with .... you order number 1 correct... no it was a number 2 oh I can bring you chili sauce for the side. 2 orders of fajita were not hot... lukewarm at best rice was cold and guacamole didn't even have avocado flavor at all. ( Our grandson who is 2 was able to safely pick up onions and bell pepper off of fajita plate.) When my husband spoke to manager clearly he had no intention of making it right because we didn't complain at the table and send all food back.

I was reading a lot of the bad reviews on here and can't for the life of me understand how those reviews happened. I have been coming here off an on for the last 25 years. I have never had any complaint with the food, it's classic Tex-Mex and very, very good as well as very large portions. I have never received cold, unflavored food and I've tried 80% of the menu. They have IMO the best salsa anywhere.
