A beautiful city park which happens to be where the annual Labor Day Lift off occurs. Memorial lake is perfect for paddle boarding and the wide open grassy fields are perfect for sports. Lots of trees available for a hammock session. Beautiful 180 view of the front range including Pikes Peak. It’s a good walking distance from downtown and several streets. From Boulder St it takes about 15-20 min to walk to the center of the park. If you’re in COS for Labor Day, the hot air balloon liftoff and the glow is a sight you can’t miss. Absolutely beautiful and stunning event that I’m glad I was here for.
My first Air balloon 🎈 fiesta
I've been to the park before but the way they had it for the launch was great, lots of room, no problems parking or traffic. There were lots of booths with all kinds of good things to eat and buy. There was live music 🎶 all day and night 🌙 the park when not hosting an event is always very clean and safe to bring the kids and your dogs.
Memorial Park in Colorado Springs is an absolute gem, and I had the pleasure of attending the Labor Day Lift Off event here. The sight of hot air balloons filling the sky was cool and truly cool. Don't miss this annual tradition if you're in town! It's a fantastic experience.
Memorial Park is a fantastic place anytime of the year. Lots of space and wonderful grounds. Grass is always well kept and ideal for sports or just lounging in the grass.
Labor Day lift off is a highlight of the year. Don’t miss it!
Great outing and geat for all ages. The hot air balloon characters were interesting and fun to watch as they inflate. It's was so beautiful to watch them glow. There were fewer balloons this year, and the food was way too expensive, but you can always pack your own treats, and don't forget a blanket 😉
We went for the balloon lift off. It was so much fun. We didn't not join the huge crowd where the balloons actually took off. We stayed off to the sides a ways but still had a great view.
If you like being outside near water, enjoying fresh air and sunshine, this is a great place to do it.
The walk around the lake is decent. There are multiple body weight exercise stops along the path. Plenty of open space for any type of sport.
Downside, the playgrounds are not necessarily maintained very well and it's slightly questionable what could be found on the playground at different times.
Site of Labor Day lift off. Always a fun family event. Ballon glow is always a really cool experience. Drone show was also impressive.

Wonderful state of the art park with playgrounds for ages 2-5 and 5-12 year Olds. There is also and exercise section for adults and nearby skate part and bike parks.
Great, big park with wide open spaces and clean places!
Beautifully maintained area with an updated playground that has fun colors and safe low-to-the-ground features, has gazebos, even a wedding gazebo, picnic pavilions with tables that are kept cle
This place is gorgeous! Love to let my kids play while I take in the scenery around me. Itâs a great place to have picnics and parties. Itâs a huge park with a ton of open green space. There are pavilions you can reserve or use on a first come/fi
I have played the playground for about an hour and a half. They have three different play areas within the same distance, and two sets of swings. Definitely a park for all ages. Lots of places to sit and watch your Kiddos. Also, a good amount of par
Little ones playground, basketball courts, small climbing wall, zip lines, baby swings, and a large center grass field. For playing or relaxing, or have a picnic. I believe I spotted a couple of picnic tables. Nice quiet playground.
Wonderful park. It has a nice playground both for older and younger kids. Thereâs a large green open space more people are playing volleyball. There are tennis courts as well. Behind the park is a walking trail with some nice views of the city. Ove
What a beautiful find!
Lots of bikes, dog walking, trails, and this great hike to the reservoir. Hike is not at all strenuous for the average person. Nice, slow incline. Plenty of trail options. Amazing how close it is to city (can see it from the to

I have loved going to cambio for over a decade now. The teachers are knowledgeable, consistent, and have amazing flow (thank you, Caleb!). I donât think I wouldâve survived these past several years being back in Colorado Springs without the studi
My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didnât get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
