First time staying on this property and there were very many pluses and very minimal minuses. Usually label it as good and/or needs improvement. Good: First location is fantastic along south Melbourne Beach Shores sand Beach with tons of wildlife, including turtles. The property is kept extremely clean and you can see the hard work that’s being done. Friendly and kind and makes you feel welcomed. Large pool and plenty of deck space to hang out with family and friends. Beach chairs and umbrella for free. Grocery stores and restaurants or minutes away. Improve: King size pillows for king, size bed, fan in the bathroom for multiple guest room. Will definitely will book again, perfect for families or couples

It's not too good to be true! My husband and I stayed two nights here and we're already talking about going back. We stayed in a Pool View King Studio, which is literally steps from the beach. Since it's surrounded by other semi private beaches, it was never crowded. They provide free beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas, which made packing so much easier! We also loved that there was seating on the deck where we could eat our breakfast and enjoy the beautiful view. They also have two showers on the deck to rinse off the sand before heading back to your room. The room was spacious, clean, and honestly super cool. The bedding was comfortable. Our room didn't have a kitchenet, but there was a table and chairs for two with a spacious counter to prep anything you bring as well as cabinet space for storage. Thermostat controls are in each room and the ceiling fan worked really well so the temperature was always comfortable despite the fact that it was Florida in July. They've got ice and ice buckets on site as well as a mud sink and coin laundry if needed. All of the staff I interacted with were very friendly and I felt like we could easily get anything we needed. The check in was a little more like an air bnb where we received a code for the door and a parking assignment in advance and we were able to walk right up to our room when we got there after 6pm. This place was the perfect little weekend getaway. If you're someone who gets lost in the weeds reading reviews for tons of places just to feel like nothing is what it appears to be - this is your sign - this is a legit beachfront escape. Just book it and get your toes in the sand.

I want to thank Stephanie for offering such great customer service. The communication was excellent. Both rooms were impeccable, I felt that I was the first one using the couch and bed, looks like everything has been renovated. The view of the ocean was amazing and I like that one of the sliding doors had a screen. The hotel exceeded my expectations!

Pros: The staff is absolutely wonderful!!! Location prime for peace and quiet, not as touristy and the rooms are clean!!! The remodeling of the interior is esthetically pleasing. The pool is large and clean! Cons: It was designer like a hotel for STR not LTR. Majority of rooms only have a mini fridge and microwave. Some do not even have a sink in the kitchen and very few have a "full" kitchen which is absolutely horrible for a week stay. The electrical work is off as the fans and lights turn on and off at random times and the AC is controlled even when you adjust it yourself it manages to go back to between 75-85!. I know this is new ownership so I do hope all gets fixed. Also the ones that work to book the rooms should take a tour of the property, they must know the facts about each room. Improvements: All rooms should have a kitchen with a larger stove top, sink and atleast an apartment size fridge. The space planing could have been maximized instead of minimal. Everything is small, furniture could be larger with a statement and all lighting should be have the option to be connected to a switch.

Incredible place….Stephaine was so helpful when I made a mistake booking this hotel with points….the location, is right on the beach….steps away, like 8 steps! Rooms had pool/beach towels in them , they even have a few beach chairs to borrow if you need one ….ice machine on site as well. Shower stations were cool. The deck was so nice for evening views without having to get dirty again. Will be back!

My husband and I’s second time here and we’re so in love. Lovely staff, clean updated rooms. The beach is beautiful, not crowded, quiet, and so relaxing. Thanks Stephanie for the amazing hospitality!

Lovely motel in the "old" Florida ambiance. But fully updated in 2023. I loved the spaciousness of the room. The newly re-done shower was beautiful. Being able to sleep with my windows open and hear the waves was enjoyable. Definitely highly recommend. Owner is on site most days. Absolutely a yearly destination.

Melbourne Beach Resort is a lovely quaint Florida hotel. The rooms are beautifully updated, spacious and clean. The pool and deck to the beach are a great place for a glass of wine or to watch the sunrise. And they allow pets!
