Melbourne Beach Motel - Featured Reviews (20)
This was our 3rd time staying here. This visit, my husband and I stayed here for 3 weeks while looking around the area for a winter home to purchase. The location is great and close to everything. The private beach across the street was like my own personal paradise! The manager has always been friendly and knowledgeable in helping us to better understand the area. The rooms are impeccably clean and have everything we needed to prepare some of our meals there to help cut costs. It's a traditional beach motel with vintage beach decor and the cleanest we've found in our years of beach travels. We didn't find out forever home this visit but at least I know I have a great place to stay when we come back!
Spent a few days here while in the area visiting friends and we wanted a place of our own. The room was clean and well maintained and we found the manager to be friendly and helpful in sharing some|knowledge on local eateries. We loved being able to keep a few groceries on hand in the full kitchen the room provided and found the room to be comfortable. You can't beat the location and the price was reasonable; especially for its location and the beautiful, private beach we had access too! This place made for a great vacation getaway and we will definitely stay again - only next time we will make our visit longer!
Stumbled across this place while visiting friends in the area. Stopped in to check out the rooms and was pleasantly surprised at how well maintained and clean I found the place. We decided to book a weeks stay and found the room to be furnished with everything we needed to be comfortable. Perfect location that is convenient to everything, staff was friendly and the best for me was the private beach across the street. Reasonably priced during season for our stay that we will definitely make a plan to come back and stay here again.
We first came to the Melbourne Beach Motel last winter and originally planned to stay for a month. After just a weeks time, we extended our stay for 3 months. We found the room to be clean, comfortable (both beds and overall lay out of the room) and it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location of the property could not be any better. Private access to the beach is just across the street, Sebastian Inlet is about 15 miles up the road and the downtown is about a mile away and offers several restaurants and stores. Being such a close drive to Cocoa Beach, the space center and Orlando only added to the fun we had. During our stay, the manager of the property was very helpful to us. He helped us learn the area and gave us several great dining suggestions. He also was very accommodating to our needs and when he noticed we were big beach goers, he installed a clothes line for us to hang out our beach towels without us even asking. The location of the property with all of the beautiful beaches up and down A1A and the relaxed comfort that the Melbourne Beach Motel offered us, has a brought us back for a second, even longer stay this winter.
We decided to come to Melbourne Beach last year to escape the cold winter of up North and booked our stay at the Melbourne Beach Motel without having seen it in person. We found it to be a great location to everything, the rooms were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The manager of the property was very accommodating to anything we even suggested we might want. We stayed for 3 months and our experience was so positive that we decided to come back again this year - only we decided to extend our stay another month!
Motel is being renovated. Rooms look great
I reserved this place on a recommendation, but after I checked in I knew it was a mistake. The place is 1950 old and worn out. I walked into the bathroom and with all the windows shut I counted and killed 32 flies. I eradicated all of them only to find another large number in the bathroom shortly after. I tried to cancel my reservations due to the condition but the manager wanted no part of it and refused to do so. I then called Capital One who made everything right. Don't stay here unless your diet consist of flies.
Read reviews of others, but the owner/manager was helpful and thoughtful on my visit. Short walk across the street, to the best stretch of beach, anywhere, for walks, shell collecting, surfing, swimming, reading. Thanks! Mark M
Wow, what a little gem in a beautiful location. The owners were not there but the manager treated us like royalty. We were amazed at how clean and stunning everything was, we loved the quaint courtyard poolside. The breakfast was to die for, it simpl
