Mega Coney Island - Family restaurant in Fenton - 3251 Owen Rd, USA

I went in the drive thru and I was given the wrong food. I looked in the bag and saw the tartar sauce so I thought it was right. I drove fifteen minutes home and I got inside and realized it was the wrong food. I called Mega and I was told my order was still sitting there waiting for me and I said it would be fifteen minutes before I would make it back so that food would be sitting for fifteen minutes and it was there mistake and I wanted fresh hot food. I got there and I told her I ordered the fish with extra crispy fries. I waited 10 minutes for my food, while waiting the waitress asks me what dipping sauce I want with my chicken strips and I again explained I wanted fish with extra crispy fries. At least they got the fish right in the end but the fries were not cooked right. The lettuce was wilted and the staff was cold behaved like I did something wrong!

Our first time at this restaurant. As good has any Coney Island we've been to, very large selection and prompt friendly service despite being pretty busy at the time. We were rather large party and everyone seemed happy with their order, including the helpings we're pretty substantial. They even have three different kinds of conies! If you're in the area and it all hungry this is definitely worth a visit.

I've always loved Mega Coney, but man has it went down hill. Stopped in with a friend last night for dinner. Patty melt was dry, half the bread had no meat and the cheese looked like it had set out for hours. The prices have become laughable. My friend asked for a pickle on the side and was charged $3.00. They piece charge everything now, charged me $9.00 for a SIDE salad that was half frozen and disgusting. $33.00 for a patty melt, side salad, side of onion rings and a drink. The waitress was non existent and there were fruit flies flying all over. Sadly, that will be the last time I swing by there for food. How sad

To start each food item had it's own good or bad. To the pancakes they were delicious and very fluffy. The bacon was great. The eggs were unique they didn't have a egg taste they had a underlying flavor of pickles. To the hashbrowns they were unseasoned and burnt. The biscuits and gravy were spot on. Wait staff was very friendly even had one compliment my tattoo. If our main serve was tied up somewhere else other servers would check up on us. They seem to operate pretty well with each other and have that business family fill going on. Overall I would recommend.

The food is always good and they have a very friendly staff.

Mega Coney Island surprises with an outstanding gyro. Juicy, well-seasoned meat tightly wrapped in a soft, warm pita, accented with fresh veggies and a tangy tzatziki sauce. The perfect harmony of texture and flavor it offers is beyond satisfying. This place turns a simple gyro into a remarkable culinary delight.

I stopped at Mega on 9/2 with 4 teenagers. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was bright and cheerful, full of conversation and laughter. And our server, Monty, was a very charismatic gentleman who went above and beyond to provide fantastic service. This was our second visit and we’ll definitely be back. Mega is now our official food stop for all of our northern Michigan travel. Thank you!

I’ve been dining at Mega’s for years but tonight I learned something that made my meal that much more delicious! Order the Flint style Coney with no onions, wow! What a meal!just mustard and have the hash browns cooked DRY, no oil or butter ! The potato flavor is not hidden! Veronica is an outstanding waitress! Vanessa seated us with a beautiful smile. Last night an ice storm hit us (see pic) causing us to have 12 hours of no electricity with no hope for restoration in 4days. We enjoyed their coney special which is a great value. I ended up in tears because someone paid for our bill. I did not think anyone would hear me thank The Hostess as I entered mega for their heat and light. Table 2 if you read this review please know how surprised and grateful I am gift your thoughtful kindness. You are on this Santa’s Great list! Vanessa, thank you from r your wonderful job.
