Beautiful and peaceful park with some nice hiking/walking trails. Be sure to visit the squirrels with some unsalted peanuts, they will come and take them from your hand very gently. The birds are also friendly and will come eat nuts from your hand too! A very pleasant and relaxing place. It is kept clean and well cared for. Thank you for such a beautiful spot!
We love this little park in all seasons. Very walkable. Different paths. Stream was really low on this visit. Lots of photo ops, swings and benches
I would give 5 stars except for all the restrictions, no dogs! No bikes! No fun? We attended the Butternut creek festival in July. The Festival itself was quite nice.
This park is wonderful and peaceful. I brought my daughter here while we were in the area visiting. The playground is great, there's 2 separate play areas that are gated to keep kids from running off, which is so important since there's a river right across from them. The hiking paths are gentle enough for young kids to walk without getting too worn out. I wish we had had time to check out the pool area. It looks like a lot of fun! Out on the trails are really cool art pieces, tall statues that my daughter was obsessed with.
Beautiful family-friendly park. Very clean. Fun for families or solo adventures. Spacious, plenty of trails. Softball park and a skate park located away from the trails. Wildlife is friendly and beautiful. Highly recommend.
Great place to hike. Often have a bag lunch by the river. Many hiking trails giving you options. I hike nearly every day. They do a great job keeping the park clean and safe. Restrooms always clean. Nice playgrounds and ballfields.
Great park. Beautiful cool day. Really a pretty park.
A very family-friendly, well maintained park. Harmonious with nature and a mountain man that helps children interact with squirrels, birds, ducks, occasionally chipmunks. The children enjoy feeding the animals, sunflower seed and raw peanuts.
Such a cute, kitschy coffee shop! Wonderful service, great menu, super clean and great atmosphere. Treat your taste buds and yourself to a cozy, comfy retreat in the middle of the downtown bustle.
Best gyro Iâve ever had. The tzatziki sauce is divine, and the pita soft and fluffy. I highly recommend the fries with the Greek pesto. Absolute perfection. I took my meal to go due to time constraints, but the restaurant is lovely and quiet with c
Beautiful courthouse with lots of local history inside - come to blairsville and tour historical courthouse - learn our way of life when our ancestors were making history
Incredible place for breakfast and donuts. A family member came here and recommended it since I was on vacation. I had a blue berry powered filled donut, coffee which was a amazing and a breakfast sandwich. It all taste very delicious. If you want to
Got to see Horsetrough Falls in a rare form with lots of ice and partly frozen conditions! The campground was closed seasonally until mid-March, so we had to park in the lot at the gate and walk an extra 0.4 mile each way through the campground. The
Food was great. I do not like my eggs slimy and asked for them to be scrambled dry, and they came out perfect! The grits were great, some places donât cook grits, long enough and theyâre hard. These were yummy! The only complaint I could make is
Delicious restaurant! We didn't get what we had reserved for and instead sent to the basement. It was a little weird as no one else was down there within 15 minutes of us arriving. We did get a cute room, though!
On the square in the heart of downtown. Mom and Pop owned and operated. They are the kindest folks and very knowledgeable about the area. If clean and simple, and close to everything downtown is what you're after, this place is for you. And they are
