Meddy's has to be the most underrated fast service place in town. The banging beef shawarma is amazing. I paid around $15 for a plate that came with a wrap, hummus, pita, chips, grilled veggies, and a drink. It also came with bread and olive oil which was nice. I could barely eat half of everything. With the prices of food nowadays, I feel like this was a good value.

We found Meddy’s when I checked my trusty “Find Me Gluten Free” app to find a safe place to eat on the road. Most of the menu was clearly marked GF (for gluten free), DF (for dairy free), and V or VEG (for vegetarian and/or vegan). Lydia at the front helped me figure out the rest and made a delicious recommendation of the beef shawarma on a rice bowl (first photo). My husband got a beef shawarma wrap with tomato soup and garlicky potatoes and said everything was wonderful. We’re so glad to have somewhere tasty to eat when we’re traveling through again.

Meddys is a must go spot! I was surprised by how friendly and helpful every staff member was, including management. The ordering process was very easy and the associate was very helpful and informative. The food came out really quick and absolutely blew us away. The hummus, bread, platters, grilled wrap, and the dessert were all incredible. The portions were very generous and the prices were surprisingly right on. We were delighted to learn they are bringing more locations to Kansas City so we can visit more often. Do yourself a favor and try this place.

Passing through on a road trip and just happened to find this gem right off I-35. Great food, great vibe, great service. We got our meal quickly and loved it (get the salmon, garlic potatoes, and tabouli—you won’t regret it)! My husband got a vegetarian option and it was good too! Great outdoor patio too. The bathrooms are clean and nice. We hope to stop by again on our way back home. Highly recommend!

This place is easy to get to. Parking is right at the front door. They have a patio you can sit at with your food as well. Almost a full bar, it is enough of a bar to have your favorite! Cold beer at great prices! A very good menu of food to enjoy including chicken strips and fries for kids! I had the garlic chicken which was very good! Pickle sticks, turnip sticks, seasoned cherry tomatoes, and some pita with a humus type paste. We also got the hummus which came with a basket of seasoned chips and pita as well. If the dining area was clean we would have been much happier with our experience. 50% of the tables were dirty and I just do not like eating in a dirty dining room. It seemed one of the cooks had extra time as she spent 15 minutes talking to a table that looked like her kids and family. So I still give them and 8 out of a 10 because of the food.

We got the lamb big bowl and pita bread. The food is delicious, but underwhelming for the price. The portions are small. The pita bread is incredibly dry and tough. The food is cooked very well. Might try something else but too expensive for the amount of food. Thank you

We visited the location at Harry & Rock. It was my first time there and it went so well! The staff were friendly, professional and efficient. The restaurant was absolutely spotless. My food was delicious. I highly recommend the gluten free pita!
