Dean was Mean (in character - which was enjoyable) Excellent food- must try the Brooklyn Pie! Waitress had a tough evening- guessing just a one off.

Incredible food. It's obvious the food is fresh and made with love. All sauces are made in house and nothing comes prepackaged. The blue cheese and glaze ok my salad were the perfect pair and the fried chicken pieces were moist. My husband loved the mango ribs and the atomic shrimp (no picture) hit the spot with the crunchy Cole slaw and grilled lemon. Our waiter's name was Leroy and he was an absolute delight. We came on a whim looking to try a local restaurant. We will DEFINITELY be back.

We dined tonight for the second time, (the first was my birthday), to celebrate our anniversary! Everything on the menu sounded wonderful! The food was outstanding & the staff went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable! We even got to meet Dean himself! Who ensured everything was to our liking & thanked us for choosing to dine with him! We had the Atomic Shrimp as our appetizer, just the right amount of spicy paired with a sweet orange cranberry slaw. I ordered the Pork Osso Bucco, and it was easily my FAVORITE meal to date! Cooked to perfection! Delicious crispy char outside, juicy tender inside. The meat literally fell off the bone & so tender it melts in your mouth! Not to mention the portion size did not disappoint. I'll be finishing the rest for lunch tomorrow unless my husband beats me to it! We were contemplating the dessert menu when our server Tiffany, surprised us with a Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff & complimentary slice of their made in-house Peanut Butter pie! So rich and delicious, I especially appreciated the freshly made whipped cream! (none of that fake in a can stuff here!) A perfect ending to a lovely dining experience! We have happily made Mean Dean's our new favorite date night spot!! Already looking forward to celebrating hubby's birthday here! If you need a place to dine this Thanksgiving, their holiday menu looks amazing!

Our 3rd time being in. Service was a bit slow. Our server kept telling us that she had so many tables. That was a poor choice on her hands. Reconstructive goat bruschetta is and was fabulous. Sad to see the Flatbread pizzas were removed. Not many vegetarian options. Bathroom was very clean.

Dined here for the first time and what a wonderful experience. Was greeted by the hostess at the front door which she opened, as we were walking to our table again another staff welcomed us and finally our server, Georgia, was a breath of fresh air! Friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming. We received our food within 12 minutes and it was wonderful. The salmon was amazing! I would highly recommend visiting mean dean's as the food, staff and ambience are a 10 out of 10!

A 10/10 experience at Mean Deans tonight for our first time. The wine selection is superb as they pull in unique selections, and our server Geeta couldn’t have been any better. She went above and beyond to make our dining experience wonderful and we had many laughs along the way. The food is all wonderfully crafted and Dean makes sure to make his rounds and chat with every table about his establishment- a really personal and classy touch by the owner and chef. We will be back!

My family and I dined here this week and I finally felt urged to leave a review- what a great meal. Our server, Emily, made dinner so much fun. A real experience! She was sweet, enthusiastic and made us feel so welcome. She was knowledgeable of all the dishes, in fact she convinced both my husband and myself to try new menu items (we've dined here several times before) and she nailed it. Dean's meatloaf is better than Mom's and his seafood is some of the best in Florida. We'll be back again this weekend. Five ⭐ stars

Traveling from Missouri and was looking for a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. Our server Linda was great and Mean Dean and the entire staff were friendly and everything was prepared perfectly.
