As a vegetarian Meals by Misty makes it so easy. As a mom of 3 meat eaters and husband- not much time is left for me to prepare a good balanced healthy meal. Misty has so many great options! I love her seafood entrees. I am also picky about the quality too. Misty gets gulf shrimp and you can take the difference! She always has great healthy sides. I especially love the mixed veggies tossed in olive oil and seasonings making it a super light side dish to pair with a vegetarian main dish. Her house Salad is my go to and I can eat on that paired with my main dish 3 nights. Her salad mix and so fresh and the mix of veggies are my fav. I don’t like a thick heavy dressing so I’m obsessed with her house made ranch. A little goes a long way. With all of my kids involved in sports almost every night some nights we don’t get home till late. Meals by Misty makes it so easy to avoid the drive through and get a homemade meal. Not to mention the money saved. The staff is very helpful and I feel welcomed every time I’m there.

Ordered ahead for a poppy seed chicken, and it's been in the oven over the recommended time, and it's very watery ! Something is not right. Have not tasted it yet. Hoping it will thicken, but it's not looking good. Looks more like poppy seed chicken soup going on 45 min now. Edit : It DID, in fact, thicken up under 375° and an additional 15+ min. I uncovered it, as well. Then I let it sit for a few minutes before serving. Still was delicious as always, just a little extra effort to get there !! All good now !

Misty doesn’t make a single bad thing! Some of my favorites include the grape salad, protein balls, pimento cheese, and firecrackers. My husband swears the white chocolate bread pudding is the best dessert he’s ever had.

Update: She responded to a second email and is attempting to make the situation right. My friend decided to order charcuterie for a baby shower with 35 people. Based on the menu, it sounds like an excellent option to save time and effort. With a heavy price tag of 8 dollars per person, you expect to have all your food covered. Today she received two trays that are CLEARLY not 8 dollars worth of food per person. When she emailed about her disappointment, the response was that there was 2.5 oz of meat and cheese per person and that the rest is “grazing.” This is not explained on the menu. The trays only included less than 30 tomatoes and cucumbers each. Her guests will not even be able to all have a tomato or cucumber!! We estimated that each guest can have about 2 oyster crackers. We also counted 64 slices of meat, so not every guest will even be able to have 2 SLICES of meat. The pattern seems about the same for the rest of the food options. I don’t know how anyone could justify this as covering 35 people with 8 dollars per person. I personally believe this is a scam. There needs to be more clarification on the menu in what you’re receiving. Do not order the charcuterie.

I cannot recommend Meals By Misty enough. The food is always fresh and great quality ingredients. The employees are always nice, helpful and welcoming. I also love the hours and how convenient it is. It saves my life especially on my long work weeks when I am drained and do not feel like cooking. If you are looking for good quality food, good prices and supporting local/ small business you should definitely give Meals By Misty a try!

Order chicken n Dressing, sweet potatoes and gravy it was delicious every one liked it will definitely order again

Decided I didn’t want to cook this year. Meals by Misty was excellent. Their Tuscan Chicken is so tender and yummy. Squash casserole, Mac n cheese. Deserts. We were very pleased. Thank you!

I just moved to Trussville three weeks ago and by chance I drove past Meals by Misty on our first night in town and almost cried with relief at what I had found! Everything we have had from Misty is delicious and so easy to fix. These meals helped settle my son into his new house and gave me a much needed break from having to go shopping, cooking and cleaning while trying to do a million other things at the same time. We will continue to order from here!!
